Up for auction is my dad's pride and joy, a 1967 Chevy Camaro with a rebuilt 350, and a Turbo 350 trans. This is a RUST FREE California car that he has owned for many years. The car is very straight with no signs of ever being in an accident. He drives this car all the time and she runs GREAT. The car starts right up, no smoking, no knocking, and purrs like a kitten. The motor only has about 5,000 miles since the rebuild. The car was just painted a little over a year ago, and as you can see she looks great. The paint job was a multi stage, that was color sanded and buffed. The car has a great interior too. The car is his daily driver, and is nice enough that he has taken home a few trophies at some car shows her in Vegas. You would be hard pressed to find a car this clean and well maintained. The pictures will speak for itself, and the car will be sold to the highest bidder after the low reserve is met!
The engine is a rebuilt 350 with about 5,000 miles on the motor, and she runs GREAT!! The motor is topped off with a Edelbrock intake and Edelbrock carb with an electric choke. The radiator is only about 2 years old, and the overflow tube is new. The car has Hedman headers that lead back to dual Flow Master exhaust that makes the car sound awesome. The car has Power Steering, and the pump does have a small leak. The engine bay is very clean, and the hood insulation is about a year old and looks great! The car has electronic ignition also. The trans is a smooth shifting Turbo 350 that works great, and she was last rebuilt about 10K miles ago by the previous owner. The rear end is a 10 bolt non Posi rear end.
The interior is VERY CLEAN in the car with no rips or tears in the seat or carpet. The headliner looks good also. The doors all shut correctly, and the windows roll up just fine all the way around the car. The gauges all work correctly but, the odometer does not work. The aftermarket CD player works great, and he added a oil pressure gauge just too be safe a few years ago. The wipers work, blinkers work, lights all work just fine too, but the horn does not work. The door panels look great too!
The exterior is awesome as you can see with a new paint job last year. She looks great with no dents but, there are a few small ships from driving the car. The chrome on the car is in great shape, grille looks good, and the car has NO RUST!! The floors are great, the trunk is great, and the frame is straight!! The tires are about 2 years old with lots of tread left on them. The rims are Torque Thrust 2's, with 255/60/15's in the rear, and 215/60/15's up front! The car has all of it's original sheet metal and there is NO BONDO on the car! She is a beautiful car. The car also has fairly new airshocks in the rear that work fine.
The car is a Daily Driver type car! The winning bidder is required to pay a $500 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of winning the car! The car is being sold " As Is" due to it's age. The deposit must be paid through Paypal. The remaining balance is due within 5 days of the auction closing, and the final payment may be made with a Cashiers check, wire transfer or cash in person. The car must be picked up within 2 weeks of the auction closing, and my zip code is 89131 for shipping purposes. Please email me with any questions, and good luck!!
On Feb-18-13 at 20:30:03 PST, seller added the following information:
I just wanted to clarify that this was originally a 327 car, and it was a standard coupe, not a RS or SS. The paint job was several thousand dollars, and it included block sanding, color sanding, and polishing! I have the option to end the auction early for the right price, so if you want to make a fair offer please send it over. I will not give you a number that I am looking for, just a fair offer for the car and we can talk.

All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)
Thu, Sep 30 2021Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.  No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?
Our favorite mid-engine Corvette theories and rumors
Tue, Sep 13 2016The mid-engine Corvette! We just saw blurry photos through the foliage, and are hearts are all aflutter because it means that this car is real. And it's the most " never before" Corvette since 1984. Which leads us to all kinds of wacky theories and speculation. Everybody knows something or heard from a guy. None of those guys (or gals) from GM are talking to Autoblog, to be clear. But that won't stop us from stirring the pot. Let's go over a few point-by-point. The pushrod engine will be replaced by an overhead-cam V8 Car and Driver has repeatedly reported that an overhead-cam engine will come after the mid-engine Corvette's debut with an old-school pushrod. We've heard the same thing firsthand, albeit from a source with no connection to the development of the Corvette or powertrain. "At some point two valves can't pass future emissions regulations," said the guy we know. While the pushrod engine is compact, the design makes it difficult - if not impossible - for sophisticated variable valve timing (and lift) systems that control combustion with more precision. Hasty conclusion: The pushrod engine has a finite life in front of it. This one's a lock, it's a just a matter of when. Bowling Green's new paint shop is really the mid-engine assembly line Credit to Reddit for this one. Like we said, everybody knows a guy. But let's look deeper. The new paint facility costs $439 million dollars and adds 450,000 square feet, almost half the size of the existing plant. Plus GM announced another $290 million in upgrades at Bowling Green Assembly. That sure sounds like a lot of money, but you can actually spend that much on a paint booth. Porsche spent 500 million Euros (about $561 million dollars) to add the Macan assembly to its Leipzig, Germany plant in 2014. Chrysler shelled out $850 million for a paint shop in Sterling Heights, Michigan. GM spent $600 million for a new paint shop at the Fairfax (Kansas City) plant. Honda, on the other hand, is working on a thrifty $210 million project in Marysville, Ohio that includes a 300,000 square foot expansion, and the low-volume Acura NSX facility only cost $70 million. Hasty conclusion: The square footage and cost could easily mean a new assembly line instead of (or in addition to) a paint line. And if the NSX plant was really that cheap, GM could have hidden a similar sum in its existing announcements.
2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit
Mon, 04 Mar 2013We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.
