This beautiful Camaro started its life out as a 1967 Camaro. Somewhere along its journey someone took a lot of
time and effort to clone it into an SS, as the pictures demonstrate. When I purchased this car 2016, I truly had
no business buying the car as I do not know anything about cars but I had always wanted this car since I was
probably 14 years old (about 30years ago).

All work performed on the car during my ownership was done100% by a place in Houston called J&T Automotive (you can
look them up if needed). I will provide, if needed, all the invoices of repairs to substantiate what I write in
this listing also, if needed.

When I purchased this car the previous owner’s listing stated: "along the course of the vehicle’s life the gear
ratio was tweaked to give the car a quicker line start. It does have a posi-traction rear axle. It is a 3-speed
automatic that has a Muncie shifter. The last owner also installed a jack/plug for hooking the stereo to an iPod.
Two speakers were installed behind the back seat (and can be seen in the pictures). An A/C system was installed
along the way that is also fully functional as is the heater. Also installed was power steering, additional
instrument cluster that includes battery, oil pressure and engine temperature. He also installed new bucket seats,
floor carpeting and new door panels. Lastly, he said that the engine. A small block V8 that was originally a 350
bored out to a 402 replaced the original V6."

The exhaust system sounds strong – menacing. The vehicle has electric hideaway lights that are fully
operational. The car has powerdisc brakes, tubular control arms, leaf springs, an after-market radio that looks
old school retro AM until you turn it on and it becomes a digital AM/FM stereo.

A lot of work has been done on the engine/transmission, just short of ripping the drive-train out for a full
restoration:

Windows were tinted to darkest street legal in Texas

Fuel gauge replaced with a working original model

Parasitic Draw Test and Electrical Diagnosis. Electrical short(s) were repaired.

Installed new coolant temperature sensor and fan relay. Wiring loop and circuit performed

1967 Shock Plate Set, non-staggered, Pair LH and RH installed

Starter Motor replaced

Larger cooling system fans installed

Sealed beam headlights replaced

Door latches all replaced. Doors latches and locks operate perfectly

Light switch replaced

Circuit board for cluster replaced

Charging system alternator replaced

Battery tender installed top post battery

Steering wheel horn cap replaced, horn high note, horn low note both replaced

Power steering pump replaced

Engine oil pan gasket replaced

Motor oil filter replaced

Engine rear main seal replaced

Transmission removed, all external gaskets and seals replaced

Power steering line replaced

Speed sensor O-ring replaced

Tail shaft seal replaced

Oil pressure switch replaced

Fan control replaced

Dimmer switch wiring repaired and replaced

Fuel gauge sender replaced

Leaf spring bushing kit installed

Leaf spring pad kit installed

Suspension bump stop kit installed

Shock absorbers replaced and installed

Lift shackle kit installed

Dual radiator fan assembly installed

Brake lights replaced

Wiper blades removed and replaced

Fuel tank cleaned and lines flushed

Spark plugs replaced

Edelbrock carburetor, electric choke, and CHL PCV replaced

Edelbrock throttle linkage kit installed

Edelbrock throttle body flange installed

Carburetor throttle cable bracket installed

Carburetor return spring bracket installed

The car is in great shape. During the suspension redo, I had a small lift added to the rear and added larger tires
in the rear, which gives it an absolutely predator stance. Mechanical is in great shape; engine will start on the
first turn. The car drives amazingly well for a car that is approximately 54 years old. All the seat belts are in
place and work accordingly. Front seats fold down easily giving access to the rear seat. The only thing that I
can say is wrong with car at this point is the drivers side window does not close perfectly at the top rear against
the rear window.

General Motors Recall List

Wed, Oct 22 2014

It seems General Motors can't go more than a few weeks without issuing a major recall. Since the initial ignition lock recall on February 10, over 25 million vehicles have been recalled for defects. It seems General Motors can't go more than a few weeks without issuing a major recall. Since the initial ignition lock recall on February 10, over 25 million vehicles have been recalled for defects. We used the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recall list to compile a snapshot of all the GM vehicles recalled in the last two months. NHTSA also provides a search engine that allows owners to search for recalls on their vehicle. An automotive company must do everything in their power to notify its customers when a recall is issued on a vehicle. If you own any of the following vehicles and you have questions regarding your car, you can contact Chevrolet at 1-866-694-6546, GMC at 1-866-996-9463, Buick at 1-800-521-7300 and Cadillac at 1-866-982-2339. Or check out General Motor's recall site. Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153) or go to www.safercar.gov. Here's a brief summery of the other vehicles currently under recall: July 26 – 414,333 cars affected NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V447000 Models under recall: Certain model year 2011-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal and Chevrolet Camaro, as well as certain 2010-2012 Cadillac SRX, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain vehicles, equipped with power height adjustable driver and passenger seats. Problem: In the affected vehicles, the bolt that secures the driver's and passenger's power front seat height adjuster may fall out causing the seat to drop suddenly to the lowest vertical position. Consequence: If the driver's seat unexpectedly drops, the distraction and altered seat position may affect the drivers' control of the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Solution: Dealers will replace the height adjuster shoulder bolts, free of charge. July 14 – 16,939 cars affected NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V341000 Models under recall: Certain model year 2011 Cadillac CTS vehicles manufactured October 18, 2010, to June 2, 2011. Problem: In the affected vehicles, vibrations from the drive shaft may cause the vehicle's roll over sensor to command the roof rail air bags to deploy. Consequence: If the roof rail air bags deploy unexpectedly, there is an increased risk of crash and injury to the occupants.

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
