Here we have a 1967 Camaro RS 2 dr coupe, The car has been in the garage since 1990. I purchased it from a widow whos husband bought it in 1969 from his cousin who bought it new, he had it ever since, he was working on it when he became ill and pasted away 11 years ago.
The car started its life as a 6 cyl 3 on the tree, the guy converted it to a small block and a 4 speed. I have not done anything to it as far as getting it started, the motor is not completely hooked up.
There is really no rust to speak of, there is a small spot on the front cowl, as can be seen in the pics, the right front inner fender well will need to be replaced as it is rotted do to the battery dripping on it a very usual thing for these cars. All floors and rockers are as new just some light surface rust. the chassis and frame are in great shape, no rot, very little surface rust. there is no bondo in any of the panels except lower front fender on one side and a little in the front cowl and the rear tail light panel.
Please keep in mind this car dose need to be restored to make it great. I am in the Resto business and have bought and sold many cars and can say this is the nicest 45 year old car I have found in a long time.
The upholstery is original and in pretty good shape a couple rips in the front seats. The dash is all there as is all the trim, emblems, lights, etc. I don't know much about the engine or trans, I think the engine came out of a van
The car is complete, I don't think there is anything missing except the headliner.
If you are looking for a great start to a restore you won't find a more complete and rust free car than this great little Camaro.
I also have available if intereted a 396/375hp 68 engine totally rebuilt with all the good stuff back to factory
the engine isn't part of the posting but can be bought for $4300.00 additional. just contact me about it.
Well thats about all I can think of about the car. If you would like to purchase the car and have us restore it for you we can do that also. Call me to discuss it.
This would make a great RS/SS clone. You can contact me at 856 765 1101 or 856 889 3451 ask for Rich.

Chevy Crossvolt name kept alive in new trademark application
Fri, Dec 26 2014In April 2011 General Motors submitted a trademark application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the word "Crossvolt." In November of this year, the application expired for lack of a statement of use. But in August of this year, GM applied again for the same trademark, leading some to believe that it intends to apply the name to a vehicle. That vehicle could explain the mule in sliced-and-diced Chevrolet Orlando bodywork caught in several spy shots this year, theorized to be some kind of Toyota Prius V or Ford C-Max Hybrid competitor; or it could be a production version of the Chevrolet Volt MP5 concept showed off at the Beijing Motor Show in 2010, which was about the same size as the Chevy Orlando. Or it could be none of those things – but the fact that Chevrolet is keeping it current makes us believe it will be... something. Take a close look at the guts of the Chevy Volt battery, powertrain
Sat, Aug 9 2014Just how intimate would you like to get with the powertrain in a Chevy Volt? If you're anything like YouTube user d55guy, then spending a half hour filming yourself taking apart the battery pack, motor, inverter and more for a look inside sounds like your idea of fun. After all, this way you get to see the cooling system, the heavy safety kill switch and count up the individual cells in the battery modules. Fun! Turns out, we also enjoy languidly paced Volt dissection video goodness, and we think you might want to see it as well. So, we've embedded two videos below and if you don't have a better understanding of how the Volt is put together after watching them, well, at least you can't say we never tried to show you anything. Given that what's really happening here is the organized 'destruction' of an expensive and potentially dangerous object, let's talk safety. There's a serious disclaimer at the beginning of the videos and on the YouTube description page, but we feel the need to repeat the gist of it here: do not try this at home. The creator of the video says he is a trained engineer and has been doing things like this "for the better part of a decade," so he apparently knows what he's doing. With that in mind, watch it all below. When you're done seeing the insides of a Volt powertrain up close, if you need more filmed EV dissection/destruction, check out this video designed for first responders approaching a damaged Tesla Model S. U.S. new-vehicle sales in 2018 rise slightly to 17.27 million [UPDATE]
Thu, Jan 3 2019DETROIT — Sales of new vehicles in the U.S. rose slightly in 2018, defying predictions and highlighting a strong economy. Automakers reported an increase of 0.3 percent over a year ago to 17.27 million vehicles. The increase came despite rising interest rates, a volatile stock market, and rising car and truck prices that pushed some buyers out of the new-vehicle market. Industry analysts and automakers said strong economic fundamentals pushed up sales and should keep them near historic highs in 2019. "Economic conditions in the U.S. are favorable and should continue to be supportive of vehicle sales at or around their current run rate," Ford Chief Economist Emily Kolinski Morris said after the company and other automakers announced their sales numbers Thursday. That auto sales remain near the 2016 record of 17.55 million is a testimonial to the strength of the economy, said Mark Zandi, chief economist at Moody's Analytics. The job market, he said, has created new employment, and wage growth has accelerated. "That's fundamental to selling anything," he said. "If there are lots of jobs and people are getting bigger paychecks, they will buy more." The unemployment rate is 3.7 percent, a 49-year low. The economy is thought to have grown close to 3 percent last year, its best performance in more than a decade. Consumers, the main driver of the economy, are spending freely. The Federal Reserve raised its key interest rate four times in 2018 but is only expected to raise it twice this year. Auto sales also were helped by low gasoline prices and rising home values, Zandi said. It all means that people are likely to keep buying new vehicles this year even as they grow more expensive. The Edmunds.com auto-pricing site estimates that the average new vehicle price hit a record $35,957 in December, about 2 percent higher than the previous year. It will be harder for automakers to keep the sales pace above 17 million because they have been enticing buyers for several years now with low-interest financing and other incentives, Zandi said. He predicts more deals in the coming year as job growth slows and credit tightens for higher-risk buyers. Edmunds, which provides content, including automotive tips and reviews, for distribution by The Associated Press, predicts that sales will drop this year to 16.9 million.
