2000 Chevrolet Silverado LS, 3500 (1 ton) four door crew cab, 237,000 miles and is ready another 237,000. The truck runs great, and does not leak a drop. It was customized for looooooog road trips, and has two TV's in the back head rest. I had my PS2 hooked up to it. It has a DVD player with wireless rear head phones , Bluetooth, and XM. The truck has the removable 5th wheel hitch, as well as a wireless remote hydraulic 1500lb tommylift lift gate, and a regular hitch. New Battery, and tires (10 ply ) have 6000 miles. Comes with 2 inch and 2 11/32 Draw tie receivers. Keyless entry as well. ALL maintenance has been performed. transmission, fuel pump, water pump, fan, and fan clutch, Oil, air filters, tune up. I just installed a brand new radiator I simply do not use it anymore, and I'm selling my 5th wheel as well.
Lift gate alone cost me 2500.00 My truck is for sale locally, so this auction may end abruptly. I can pick you up at the airport, or I can ship this anywhere you'd like. My friend owns an auto transport business, so the cost would be 1/2 of the normal fee. I've had it moved to Miami (from LA) for 650.00 I am the original owner, and I have taken good care of the truck. It's reliable, and perfect for delivery's. I used it to deliver copiers, and office equipment. Most of the miles come from towing my 5th wheel, which weighs 11,000 loaded, and does not even feel it. It has the 7.4 liter, 454 which is reliable, and easy to work on as well. The hazard lights flicker when activated, and the windshield wipers don't always return to the home position. This is a minor electrical malfunction, which I never corrected, but felt I should disclose. It has run 210 degrees it's whole life. I took it into the mechanic, and he noticed it was running 215 to to 220. He recommended a new radiator, so I replaced it. Happy Bidding ! Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
