THIS TRUCK WAS WHAT HE USED TO GO PICK THEM UP WHEN HE BOUGHT THEM, AND MOVE THEM AROUND DURING THE RESTORATION PROCESS. HE WAS A MAINTENANCE STICKLER, AND HAD THE CLEANEST, MOST ORGANIZED SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN IN! THIS TRUCK IS NO DIFFERENT FROM THE REST OF HIS STUFF! HE HAD IT STRIPPED AND PAINTED A FEW YEARS AGO, AT THAT TIME HE PUT ON THE GMC GRILL, STEERING WHEEL, EMBLEMS AND HUBCAPS, WHEN I ASKED WHY, HE SIMPLY REPLIED "CUZ I LIKE THE LOOK BETTER" ANYWAY, I WILL BREAK DOWN THE CONDITION OF THIS SHARP OLD TRUCK INTO 3 CATEGORIES, EXTERIOR, INTERIOR AND DRIVELINE TO EXPLAIN IT IN DETAIL AND ANSWER AS MANY QUESTIONS AS POSSIBLE BEFOREHAND, SO HERE GOES... EXTERIOR: AS THE PICTURES SHOW, THIS TRUCK IS CLEAN! OTHER THAN A COUPLE DINGS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT FENDER "PAINT IS NOT BROKEN SEE PIC), THERE ARE NO DENTS, DINGS OR BLEMISHES THAT TAKE AWAY FROM IT! THERE IS NO RUST. THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN WASHED/WAXED ON A REGULAR BASIS AND IT SHOWS! THE WHEELS ARE NICE, THE BUMPERS LOOK GREAT AND THE GLASS IS ALL PERFECT. THE UNIROYAL LT245-75-16 TIRES HAVE ATLEST 70% TREAD LIFE REMAINING. INTERIOR: THE CLOTH BENCH SEAT IS IMMACULATE, (AGAIN SEE PICS) THE ORIGINAL CARPET IS ALSO IN EXCELLENT CONDITION! HAS HAD FLOORMATTS SINCE DAY#1 THE DASHBOARD HAS NO CRACKS, AND LOOKS GREAT STILL! THE DOOR PANELS ARE ALL INTACT AND STILL VERY NICE. THE SUNVISORS ARE VERY NICE, JUST ONE OF THE NICEST 1994 ORIGINAL INTERIORS OUT THERE! DRIVELINE: THE ORIGINAL 5.7 LITER V8 STARTS WITH THE TURN OF THE KEY, AND SOUNDS GREAT! THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS AS IT SHOULD, THE BRAKES, EXHAUST, SUSPENSION AND EVERYTHING WERE ALL INSPECTED BY MY MECHANIC THIS MORNING AND HE DEEMED HER "READY TO GO" THERE ARE NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS ILLUMINATED (OR ANY OTHER WARNING LIGHTS FOR THAT MATTER"DOES NOT SMOKE, AND SHE HAS BEEN PARKED IN THE SAME SPOT FOR 3 DAYS AND THERE ISNT A DROP OF ANY FLUID. IN CLOSING, I AM "NOT" SELLING A BRAND NEW 1994 PICK UP TRUCK, BUT I AM SELLING A VERY CLEAN, SHARP LOOKING OLD TRUCK WITH LOW MILES, AWESOME TOWING CAPABILITIES, AND MANY YEARS OF SERVICE LEFT IN HER. I PROMISE THAT IT WILL TURN HEADS AND YOU WILL GET COMPLIMENTS ON IT ALL THE TIME! IF I HAD MORE SPACE, I WOULD SURELY KEEP THIS ONE AROUND. Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors
Mon, 04 Feb 2013As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. Scroll down below for an official announcement from General Motors.
2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
All of the Bond cars of 'No Time To Die' (caution for spoilers)
Thu, Sep 30 2021Note: The following overview of the cars in No Time To Die contains spoilers. Read at your own risk, or come back after seeing the film to make sure you caught everything.  No Time To Die picks up right around where Spectre leaves us. James Bond (Daniel Craig) and Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) are driving along in Bond’s restored and iconic DB5 in Matera, Italy. Things donÂ’t stay all that cheery for long in picturesque Matera, though. As is tradition in Bond films, the first car chase hits us with an explosion of action in what's a super-long opening scene. Fourth-gen Maserati Quattroporte: The baddies in the beginning are driving a Maserati and chasing after Bond in the DB5. Specifically, theyÂ’re in a fourth-gen Quattroporte, which feels right for a chase scene in Italy. Its squared-off looks are mean enough, and its Italian growl is a good background soundtrack to the DB5Â’s inline-six. In addition to the Quattroporte, the chase scene in Matera is home to a couple of the best stunts of the entire movie, including the arch jump done with a Triumph motorcycle seen in trailers — Matera is extremely hilly. Eventually, Bond and Swann find themselves in the DB5 again together, which is where the famous gatling gun scene from the trailer commences, but not before the bulletproof windows and body of the DB5 are thoroughly tested. RIP to the first-gen Range Rover Classics and Jaguar XFs that joined the Maserati in pursuit of Bond (here's a list of other Bond cars over the years). As the DB5 escape scene concludes, we catch a glimpse of what appears to be a Ferrari from the 1970s. However, the view was far enough away that weÂ’ll need a second look to be sure of the exact model. Land Rover Series III: Next time we see Bond, heÂ’s fishing in Jamaica and driving around a blue Land Rover Series III. ItÂ’s yet another of the many Land Rover products featured throughout the film, and unlike most of BondÂ’s Aston Martins, this one doesnÂ’t seem to have any unique features. The other intriguing vehicle out of Jamaica? An old Chevrolet Bel-Air expertly and effectively piloted by Bond newcomer, Ana de Armas. Next up, we get a few shots of the new and still-not-for-sale Aston Martin Valhalla mid-engine supercar (also seen in trailers). BondÂ’s old boss M is in the scene which appears to have been shot in some secret wind tunnel of sorts. Much to our dismay, nobody ends up driving the Valhalla in the film. Could it be a teaser for what the next 007Â’s car is?
