1985 Chevy Gmc K20 K25 K30 Clean Original 4 X 4 Air Conditioning Chevrolet Tilt on 2040-cars
Upland, Indiana, United States
1985 GMC K25 High Sierra 4 x 4 Up for auction is a nice original 1985 GMC K25 Sierra 4 x4 with a 350 ci engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning, tilt steering wheel, power windows and locks. The engine has recently (1,000 miles ago) been overhauled from the carburetor to the oil pan. A RV camshaft was installed as well as tubular headers and new dual exhaust. The transfer case was also serviced and had new seals installed at the time of overhaul. The 4x4 functions correctly. The truck cab is sealed very tight, there is very little wind noise going down the road. The brakes are good and steering is tight. The truck has very little rust. It was spot painted years ago but has no bond-o or other rust repair. The factory bench seat has been redone but now has minor rip on the driver side (please see pictures). The air conditioning works but does need charged. The odometer currently reads 14,533 (114,533) but may vary slightly as it is still being driven. I have done my best to describe this truck as accurately as possible. Please see all pictures and call Chad at 260.578.0055 after 5pm if you have any questions, before bidding. The truck is located in North Manchester, Indiana. |

GM Halts Sale Of Most Chevy Cruze Models
Fri, Mar 28 2014General Motors has told dealers to stop selling some 2013 and 2014 Chevrolet Cruze compact cars. But the company won't say why. Dealers say stop-sale orders are routine and almost always made to fix a safety problem. They received the order in an e-mail Thursday, but no reason was given. The move comes as GM deals with fallout from a delayed recall of 1.6 million older small cars to fix an ignition switch problem. The company says the switches can slip out of the run position and shut down the engine. That causes loss of power steering and brakes and disables air bags. GM says the problem has been linked to 31 crashes and at least a dozen deaths. Spokesman Greg Martin says he has no details on the Cruze. Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
