1984 Chevy C20 Truck - 7.4L 454 - Longbed - 4x2 New OEM grill, lower valance, Summit Racing dash pad with new chrome dash trim and A/C vents, steering wheel w/ Chevy horn emblem, re-built steering column. Fresh oil, oil filter, PCV valve, and air filter. Battery is only a few months old. Truck runs great w/ no leaks, and it does't burn oil. A/C blows cold, and the truck doesn't overheat....lots of traffic lights in ABQ!! Fires right up everytime! Truck sounds great too! Magnaflow dual to single outlet exhaust attached to long tube headers.... Paint is silver......economy and a "B" in my opinion...but I'm not an expert. Top of truck is faded....with a decent chip (pictured). Truck is kept in the garage. No radio head unit installed - Dome lights not working - A/C control doesn't shift from vent to defrost to lower....it blows from all - Used controller included with the purchase. Thanks for taking the time to look...these trucks are getting harder to find in decent shape for a reasonable amount of money......good start for someone that has more time than I do..... **RESERVE IS $4000.00** |

2014 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra full configurators truck in
Sat, 15 Jun 2013You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme
Mon, 17 Dec 2012They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
