Very Nice Chevrolet 3/4 Ton Truck with a very nice paint job. Truck has a blue print 383 engine from summit racing with 1500 miles on it. Has a 700 R4 automatic transmission, 373 rear end both rebuilt by previous owner. Truck was restored by previous owner everything except engine which was put in when I bought it. It has a 1987 grille in it and was set up for fuel injection, all the wiring harness was put in by previous owner and is still there. I chose to put a carbureted engine in it. Speedo and voltage gage work in the dash, it has a fuel, oil, and water temperature gage mounted under the dash. All lights, turn signals, etc. work. Has cold AC does not blow out of vents very well. Interior is in excellent condition. NO RUST, NO DENTS, NO DINGS, NO LEAKS, A FEW CHIPS IN PAINT BEHIND TIRES. Tires are in new condition. Truck runs good, has flowmaster exhaust...sounds good. Gets plenty of compliments when driven. Only reason I am selling is because I bought another same body style truck except 4 x 4. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges, If you have less than 2 feedbacks please email before bidding or your bid will be canceled. Thanks

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
LG Chem's troubled Chevy Volt battery plant hiring once again
Thu, Sep 25 2014The Michigan battery plant known for paying its workers to do nothing has turned things around and is now hiring more workers, specifically to do something. South Korea-based LG Chem, which runs the factory to supply the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle with its lithium-ion batteries, held a job fair recently to bring on 40 new employees in order to meet higher battery demand, according to WZZM, the ABC affiliate for Grand Rapids, MI. The LG Chem factory is in Holland, MI, about 30 miles west of Grand Rapids, and it made its first batteries last year. Prior to that, though, the factory gained notoriety after a US Department of Energy (DOE) probe found that workers there were getting paid to do, well, nothing. That's because demand for the battery packs was so low that it cost less for the plant to sit idle. The DOE was conducting the probe because of its financial grant to LG Chem. But that was then and today is today. LG Chem is looking to ramp up production in advance of the second-generation Volt. That 2016 model-year version is said to have a longer all-electric range and better performance and will ride on a new chassis, but few official details have surfaced. We will know more when we get our first look at the car at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
