You are bidding on a beautiful, RUST FREE 1976 Chevrolet K-20, 3/4 Ton 4X4. It has a strong running 350 with a Turbo 350 Transmission. It has the heavy duty, cast iron transfer case and after market manual lockout hubs. I believe it has 4:11 gears.
The previous owner performed a frame off restoration in his own garage a few years ago.
To be completely honest, I don't know what all was done except this:
***It appears as though cab and bed are NOT original to the truck
***Suspension was upgraded w/ BDS components including a 2-3" lift
***Hide-Away Gooseneck hitch was added
***After market wheels w/ 33x12.50x16.5 All-terrain tire (still @ 75%)
***New Paint (There are a couple runs & chips here and there fro normal use)
***New exhaust
***Brakes rebuilt w/ heavy duty parts
***Engine was rebuilt by local machine shop
***seat was professionally recovered
***DeeZee nerf bars added
Here are the things that I have done or had done since buying the truck:
***Added heavy duty hitch
***Carburetor cleaned
***New Fuel Pump
***New Alternator
***New Distributor
***Added auto-meter Gauges and Tach
***Note: Drivers side nerf bar has been removed in order to install fuel tank. This has NOT been completed yet. All parts will go with buyer for completion.
Here is what I know about the engine
***less than 5000 miles on rebuild
***No Leaks
***Doesn't burn oil
***Mild Cam
***Edelbrock intake & carb w/ electric choke
Overall Assessment:
The body is solid-no rust through anywhere! The paint is by no means perfect. There are a couple runs & chips here and there fro normal use. The tailgate works as if brand new. There are a couple small cracks in the dash where the speaker is, otherwise in good shape.
Note: Drivers side nerf bar has been removed in order to install fuel tank. This has NOT been completed yet. All parts will go with buyer for completion.
***NOTE: I WILL BE KEEPING THE DIAMOND TREAD TOOL BOX SEEN IN THE PICTURES.
The truck runs great and I hate to see it go...but I am purchasing some thing newer with A/C because I pull trailer loads of hay in the summer and really miss Air!
Important Terms:
Truck is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end auction at any time.

General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem
Thu, Feb 13 2014General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. 24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two
Sun, Jun 19 2016We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
