I'am selling a great running 1996 Silverado. The tires are worn and need to be replaced. This truck needs new brake pads. There are some minor dings and scratches and some of the clear coat is starting to come off and a few spots with paint have come off as well. The back driver side rear fender of the truck there is a crack in the fiberglass bed as shown in the pictures. There was once a set of 12" subs running into the back of the truck, but someone in a walmart parking lot in 2005 decided they would take those for there own and cut the carpet to remove the wiring. They also broke the back window which was replaced with a solid window but now shows small amounts of rust around the seal area. The truck was used as collateral to secure a motorcycle loan but is paid off so there is no liens/loans. The A/C also needs to be charged but the A/C compressor DOES work. I have had this truck for 12 years and it is by far the most dependable vehicle i have ever owned. I do not wish to sell this truck but i need a car that uses less fuel. This truck has no leaks and runs great the engine is strong and i have faithfully changed the oil every 3000 miles along with the air filter every 4th oil change. I have also replaced the plugs within every 60,000 miles. The truck starts up every time with no hesitation. You know everything about this truck that i do. This will be one amazing vehicle for the lucky buyer when a few of the issues listed earlier are taken care of. Happy Bidding.

No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
