1994 Chev Silverado Extended Cab Z71 56,000 Miles on 2040-cars
Snohomish, Washington, United States
1994 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 Short Bed Extended Cab 4x4, 56,000 2 owner miles, has been in Washington state since new. This truck has the bucket seat option with center console. I bought the truck from the original owner ( his aged kept him form driving any longer). This is a rust free west coast truck that has been taken very good care of and did not show any signs of abuse. The exterior and interior and very nice considering the age of the vehicle. It is not showroom perfect, but a very well taken care of truck. When I bought the truck I had new tires installed, replaced the exhaust from the cat back, it has a Flowmaster muffler and has good sound to the truck, I just recently have had the a/c compressor changed as the old one had a leak and did not hold a charge, this was done at my local Chevrolet dealer with OEM parts, now it blows cold as ice. I did replace the factory radio with a Kenwood CD/Bluetooth receiver (however I do have the factory AM/FM Cassette player that will be included with the truck(It worked before I replaced it). I also added the Truxedo roll-up tonneau cover that stays with the truck. There are a few minor scratches on the truck that do not stand out and a minor dent on the passenger side roof, size of a softball, but hardly noticeable unless you know it's there(see the picture). I did not have the truck detailed before pictures as I wanted to present the truck accurately. I do have a realistic reserve (please don't ask) for this truck and I already know what the book values are, I did not use them when I bought it, as this is one of the nicest lower mileage trucks in this condition, RED, Z71, Grey Bucket Seats and two-owner west coast rust free truck. You may not find a nicer 1994 Chevrolet Z71 Extra Cab 4x4 truck. I can send more pictures if needed and please contact myself for more information. It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells. No personal checks or trades, Cashier Check, cash or wire transfer subject to my banks approval. I am about 45 minutes north of SeaTac Intl Airport.

No, Cadillac is not killing its flagship CT6 sedan
Sat, Jul 22 2017Mark Twain never actually said that reports of his death had been greatly exaggerated. But if the Cadillac CT6 could talk, those are the exact words it would use. Speaking to Jalopnik, Cadillac chief Johan de Nysschen confirmed, emphatically, "There is absolutely no plan, at all, to cancel the CT6." In fact, says de Nysschen, the CT6 will soon be the beneficiary of significant investment. "The [CT6] forms a very important part of our product strategy going forward for the brand. The car also has a very major contribution to make to the shaping of brand perceptions, and the transformational process that Cadillac is undergoing." For instance, expect the CT6 to spearhead General Motors' most advanced forays into self-driving automobile technology. Interestingly, though, the Cadillac ATS and CTS sedans probably won't live past their current generations as the automaker 're-balances its sedan portfolio.' Replacement models are "in development" right now, says de Nysschen, which will "much more clearly separate the market position, both in terms of target customer demographics, in terms of market segments and in terms of price points between these three sedan lineups." So, that's confirmation that the Cadillac CT6 is going to stick around for a while. But what of other models cited by Reuters to potentially be killed, like the Buick LaCrosse and Chevy Impala and Volt? Read our take on that here, but suffice it to say that we don't think they're in danger, either. China's rise, global restructuring wither GM's Korea division
Wed, Jan 7 2015An article in the Daily Kanban suggests the sun is setting on GM Korea, and it could already be well into dusk. GM Korea came about when General Motors, along with co-investors SAIC and Suzuki, bought Daewoo Motors from parent company Daewoo Group in 2001; it had a previous tie-up with GM, a joint venture that ended in 1992, although Daewoo cars were based on GM cars until 1996. Over the decade following the purchase, it became such an important part of operations that it was renamed GM Korea in 2011, "to reflect its heightened status in [the] global operations of GM." Just two years later, the printed rumors were that the subsidiary responsible for a fifth of Chevrolet's global production could be shutting down. The division's sales were down almost 21 percent through November of last year, counting domestic South Korean sales, exports, and CKD – Complete Knock Down – products. That makes the labor strife, already an issue for four years, even more acute, reports say the subsidiary will lose $36 million a year if it can't get the job and wage cuts it wants, and government concessions can't make up for the losses. And it gets worse, so head over to Daily Kanban to read the rest of the story.
Final C6 Corvette built in Bowling Green
Fri, 01 Mar 2013With all of the attention given to the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray lately, you could be forgiven for thinking that it's already well along in production, yet tooling up for the new C7 has only just begun. In fact, production of the outgoing C6 generation in Bowling Green, Kentucky just halted on Thursday.
As the C6 has aged, production numbers have predictably ebbed along with demand, but this year, the addition of the 427 and 60th anniversary models resulted in an uptick in vehicles built - this, despite a model year shortened by around 25 percent to accomodate the new model changeover. The final C6 Corvette ever, No. 13,466 built this year, was a white 427 Convertible destined for the General Motors Heritage Center museum. The car's 7.0-liter V8 heart was assembled by Corvette chief engineer Tadge Juechter himself.
In total, Bowling Green pushed out 215,100 C6 Corvettes over nine years. If you're still a C6 fan at heart and are hoping to get a good deal on a phase-out model, step lively - Chevrolet reportedly had about 6,100 unsold units, which Autoweek suggests is good for around five and a half months of supply at the model's current sales rates. Given that demand will likely slacken even further as the C7 draws closer, that should be a big enough stockpile to keep dealers satisfied until 2014 Stingrays begin showing up on their forecourts in December.
