1988 Chevrolet Cheyenne
One Owner "Only 47K"
Like New Condition
Must See

This is a fantastic opportunty to own a very well cared for One Owner, 1988 Chevrolet Cheyenne Pickup"Only 47K" This truck is incredibly clean, with Very Very Low Mileage.
Every where you look this truck is very clean. The truck was owned by an older Gentleman who bought it brand new(I have a picture of the title in the listing) and he is no longer driving. It was his pride and joy. This truck comes with the original books and manuals. The condition of this truck is unbelievable, it truely is like new.

This is one of the most sought after body styles' of Chevrolet Trucks there is, Also it is hard to find them with low mileage and automatic transmission in this body style as well.

It has always been very well maintained and cared for, and has always been pampered and never abuse, and it has been garaged it's entire life from day one you can tell by the condition of the paint. It also comes with a clean Auto Check that shows (No Accidents).

It is ready to be an everyday driver or be saved as a Weekend Toy.

The Exterior: is in very very nice condition. The Tutone Sandstone / Mesa Brown Paint, has great shine and depth with very very minor scratches or rock chips, visible only under very close inspection (Really none). It has the Factort Rally Wheels with Chrome Center Caps and Trim Rings  that are in great shape and good tires.

The Sportsman Brand Topper on the back of the truck was purchased and put on when it was new. It is a very nice topper that was painted to match. It has all tempered glass and screened side windows, not plastic windows. The bed has carpet in it that could be pulled out. If the topper is not your taste or would be in your way for hauling it can be easily removed and would not leave any damage to the the truck because of the way it was installed.

The Interior: is also in very nice condition with really no wear. Mint Condition It comes completely stock with, A/C. It also comes with Manual Windows and Locks, Ect... It all works.

The pictures do not do this truck, justice, it is better in person.

The dash is in great condition and still has the Factory Stereo. The rubber floor shows no wear really like new. and the Saddle Cloth Seat is in  perfect condition as well.

This Truck runs and drives fantastic (Unblievably Well). It has great power and drives tight, and brakes straight and smooth. It comes with the 5.0L  8Cyl Engine and Automatic Transmission that makes this car a real pleasure to drive, and still gets good gas mileage. New Lifetime muffler and headpipe recently installed (receipt Included).

This is a well cared for One Owner Chevrolet Cheyenne Pickup  combined with Very Very Low Mileage, and in Beautiful Condition, makes this a "DON'T MISS OPPORTUNITY"!!!

GM Design shows what could have been and what might be

Thu, May 27 2021

We periodically like to check in with GM Design's Instagram account to see what they're cooking up. Even better is when we catch a glimpse of an alternate history of what legendary designers from The General's past were thinking, though those ideas may not have made it into production. This week, for example, the account posted some illustrations from George Camp, whose career at GM spanned nearly four decades, from 1963 to 2001. One of the renderings is of what appears to be a 1971-72 Pontiac GTO Judge, but with two headlights instead of the production unit's quad beams. The rear departs from the canonical version most dramatically, with a massive integrated wing. Other bits that didn't make the production cut include large side vents, a gill-like side marker and rectangular intakes below the headlights that wouldn't be out of place on a modern design today. Amazingly, from what we can make out of the date, it appears that the drawing was done sometime in 1965, which makes it quite prescient.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) There's also a very aerodynamic interpretation of a Corvette ZR-1. To our eyes it splits the difference between the 1986 Corvette Indy concept and a fourth-generation F-body Pontiac Firebird, so perhaps parts of Camp's work on this sketch did make it into physical form. There's also a radical sports car concept from May 1970 that resembles the Mazda RX-500 concept from the same year, a Syd Mead-looking Cadillac coupe, and an Oldsmobile with a cool take on the company's trademark waterfall grille and elements of the Colonnade Cutlass at the rear. Other recent posts include a FJ Cruiser-like off-road EV, a sleek coupe with the Chevy corporate grille, and a rendering of a Silverado-esque pickup that looks far better than the current production version.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by GM Design (@generalmotorsdesign) It's pretty easy to lose hours in the account, but it's always fascinating to see GM's visions of what could have been and what might be. 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra debut all-new designs, three new engines

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

General Motors has finally dropped the curtain on the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra. Both trucks have undergone substantial revisions with updated versions of the company's 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 engines. In a shot across the bows of both Ford and Chrysler, GM says it won't use a V6 engine adapted from passenger car applications. Instead, it developed the 4.3-liter engine based on its proven truck-duty architecture.
All three mills will boast direct injection fuel systems as well as a new cylinder head design. Combined with a revised piston, the new engines feature a smaller combustion chamber with a compression ratio of 11:1 or higher depending on the application. Cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing are all part of the recipe, and each engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with auto grade breaking. So far, no fuel economy or horsepower figures have been released, though GM says the new engines will best their predecessors in both areas.
Outside, the trucks feature a number of enhancements to reduce drag and wind noise, and GM claims both the Silverado and Sierra will offer buyers some of the quietest cabins in the class. Extended cab models now feature front-hinged rear doors to allow easier access to the back passenger area, and Crew Cab buyers can now select between a five-foot, eight-inch bed or a six-foot, six-inch bed. Buyers with a mind toward going off road will also rejoice in the return of the Z71 package, complete with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and additional under-body protection.

Next Chevy Silverado could get this built-in tailgate step

Thu, Feb 2 2017

General Motors just received patent approval for a tailgate step in a pickup bed. And given the timing, don't be surprised if you see this on the upcoming 2019 Silverado pickup (not the mention its GMC Sierra twin), expected to arrive in late 2018. According to the patent, granted in December of last year, the whole mechanism is housed in the tailgate assemble. The magic happens when a portion of the top half of the tailgate swings down and a step folds out. There's also a handle that locks into position to help climb up into the bed. As trucks get bigger and taller over the years, it gets harder and harder to access the cargo bed. Ford's solution with the 2009 F-150 was a step that slides out from the end of the tailgate. Back then, Chevy made an ill-advised ad highlighting the feature for Ford. And while Howie Long mocked the F-150's "man step" Ford saw almost a third of its trucks with the option in the first year. The GM design seems to improve on Ford's idea as it appears to be wider and has a back to the lower step. That is, you don't have to worry about stepping through the ladder-rung design as on the F-150. Ford's tailgate step later spread to the F Super Duty, and other cargo access assists have proliferated through the truck world. On the most recent redesign, the Chevrolet Silverado took a trick from the Avalanche and added cutouts to the corners of the rear bumper that act as a foothold. Ford also offers a deployable side step, Chevrolet has running boards that scoot rearward with a kick of the boot, and Ram offers fixed wheel-to-wheel side rails. Nissan is in on the game too, with an optional folding step that tucks under the rear bumper. We don't expect Chevrolet to comment on when or if we'll see this feature in the showrooms. But given that engineers are already hard at work on the next Silverado and the timing of this patent lines right up with the new truck's development cycle, we'll be disappointed if this patent stays in the file cabinet.
