This is my 1978 Chevy C10 Custom Deluxe up for Auction
It has a 350 with automatic and only 53574 miles on the truck.. i got the truck from the guy who bought it new off the lot back in 78 and was told he used it for church and then later in car shows and parades..so it was never abused or a work truck that takes a beating..
it had a frame off restoration with a few add on's which make this truck get a lot of looks like
Cowl Hood
Chrome side bars
Black leather Tonneau Cover
in the back behind the cab is a fold up seat (which i heard the grand kids loved).. i myself found it very cool to park the truck hop in the back and watch fireworks on the fourth of July
3 different woods in the bed
it has had electric windows added
as well as the center console which when you flip up the wood lid has a small ice chest in it.. for whatever you want to keep cold :)
the wheels are 20 inch chrome Panthers and the tires Goodyear Eagle II's 285-50r20 in back and 275-45r20 in front
you can tell by the pics that the truck is in great shape and i dare anyone to find a speck of rust on it..
this truck gets a lot of attention for sure.. i really don't think i have ever even put gas in it without someone coming up to talk to me about it.. but like all things time has come to let it go.. i'm weeding out my vehicles to make some changes in my life.. (i still have to sell my fj40 land cruiser and my Jaguar) they will be listed soon on here..
the hope the pics help and you can see how much shine the truck has and that is on a day where it was raining off and on so i had to get pics between rain when the truck was dry.. when it is fully cleaned up and at full shine it's a beauty.. my neighbor asked me once if i was trying to blind him lol
anyway if you have any questions just let me know and i will get back to you as quick as i can
and please no scammers
have all funds ready and in place before you bid
Thanks for your time and happy bidding

Burt Reynolds' vehicles up for auction at Barrett-Jackson
Tue, Sep 25 2018Burt Reynolds' influence on car culture cannot be overstated. Be it "Smokey and the Bandit" or "Cannonball Run," his films inspired a generation of car enthusiasts. He died a few weeks back from cardiac arrest at age 82. This weekend, four vehicles from Reynolds' personal collection — three Pontiacs and a Chevy — will go up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas. It seems Reynolds had plans to sell the cars before he passed. He even filmed a short teaser for the auction and planned to attend the event himself. Three of the cars are Pontiac Trans Ams. Two are re-creations of the cars he drove in "Bandit" and the film "Hooper." Both are 1978 models. The third Trans Am is from 1984 and was used to promote Reynolds' USFL team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth vehicle is a 1978 Chevy R30 pickup truck. It's styled like the truck he drove in "Cannonball Run." None of the vehicles were actually used in the movies. But they were registered in his name, making them far more legitimate than some other movie-inspired clones. It's unclear how many Bandit Trans Ams Reynolds has owned over the years. Another car connected to him sold for $450,000 back in 2014. His death is sure to drive the price of these new cars even higher. 2015 Chevrolet Cruze spied on its home turf
Tue, 23 Apr 2013The next Chevrolet Cruze isn't set to go into production for about another year, and we're just now seeing prototypes of the new compact running around here in the States. Not much more has been revealed since we saw the car blasting through the snow in Europe, but we can still clearly see new design elements like the larger grille, slimmer headlamps and redesigned taillamps.
Our spy photographers worked up a composite image of this Cruze prototype alongside the current model, and here, we can clearly see some big visual changes are in store for the new model. The 2015 Cruze's hood slopes downward more dramatically, the windshield is more heavily raked, and the roofline looks more fluid overall. The next-generation Cruze will ride on the new global Delta platform that will also underpin other General Motors vehicles like the Chevrolet Volt and Equinox.
As for what's under the hood, we expect the normal range of gasoline four-cylinder engines (both naturally aspirated and turbocharged), and the compact's new turbodiesel four should carry over, as well. Have a look at the full brace of spy photos in the gallery above.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
