Description | This is a great looking 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Short Bed SWB Pickup! Thousands of dollars and many hours of work were spent on the build / restoration of this BEAUTY. This amazing truck is located in Albany, Oregon and we encourage everyone to come take a look at it and drive this truck for yourself, the best opinion is your opinion. Exterior: The exterior of this Chevy is in great overall shape. The body is straight and the paint is a satin metallic gray, but it does show some dings, scratches, etc. The wheels are black 17" Moto Metal Skulls mounted on brand new Toyo Proxes ST 255/60r17 and really to lay down some rubber. New windshield, new bed-liner, but it does show some typical road wear, but it still has an overall nice look. This RUST FREE C10 is in good condition from top to bottom and from front to back. It's not perfect and does have its flaws and is not a show truck, it's a daily driver that defiantly gets the heads to turn, and is FUN TO DRIVE! Please look over our many pictures and give us a call if you have any questions, we have taken close to 100 pictures of this vehicle. Interior: The new upholstery, the interior looks great, showing minimal wear and blemishes. It is not a trailer queen, shower winner, or a new pickup, has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc. that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall great look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care of. It also has an aftermarket sound system, from the deck to the speakers, you'll ride in style while listing to your favorite tunes. Please take the time to look through our many pictures and call us with any questions. Mechanics: The heart of this Chevy is a newly built small block 350 CID V8, large cam with a great sounding lope and runs like a champ to say the least! The motor is equipped with a noisy gear drive, Weber Quadrajet carburetor, long tube headers and dual exhaust that sounds AWESOME and MEAN. The motor is backed by a TH350 three speed automatic transmission and new B&M shifter, with a 373 posi-trak rear end. A LMC gas tank relocation (upgrade) kit was installed to remove the original tank from inside the cab. Also feel safe knowing this truck has power steering as well as disc brakes. This V8 starts right up and idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight down the road. The Odometer currently reads 74,220, but has not been verified if it is original. We have inspected, serviced and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever you need.

The difference between Tesla charging and non-Tesla charging. Electrify America; Tesla Tesla's advantage has long been its charging technology and Supercharger network. Now, more and more automakers are switching to Tesla's charging tech. But there are a few things non-Tesla drivers need to know about charging at a Tesla station. A lot has hit the news cycle in recent months with regard to electric car drivers and where they can and can't plug in. The key factor in all of that? Whether automakers switched to Tesla's charging standard. More car companies are shifting to Tesla's charging tech in the hopes of boosting their customers' confidence in going electric. Here's what it boils down to: If you currently drive a Tesla, you can keep charging at Tesla charging locations, which use the company's North American Charging Standard (NACS), which has long served it well. The chargers are thinner, more lightweight and easier to wrangle than other brands. If you currently drive a non-Tesla EV, you have to charge at a non-Tesla charging station like that of Electrify America or EVgo — which use the Combined Charging System (CCS) — unless you stumble upon a Tesla charger already equipped with the Magic Dock adapter. For years, CCS tech dominated EVs from everyone but Tesla. Starting next year, if you drive a non-Tesla EV (from the automakers that have announced they'll make the switch), you'll be able to charge at all Supercharger locations with an adapter. And by 2025, EVs from some automakers won't even need an adaptor. Here's how to charge up, depending on which EV you have: Ford 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Tim Levin/Insider Ford was the earliest traditional automaker to team up with Tesla for its charging tech. Current Ford EV owners — those driving a Ford electric vehicle already fitted with a CCS port — will be able to use a Tesla-developed adapter to access Tesla Superchargers starting in the spring. That means that, if you own a Mustang Mach-E or Ford F-150 Lightning, you will need the adapter in order to use a Tesla station come 2024. But Ford will equip its future EVs with the NACS port starting in 2025 — eliminating the need for any adapter. Owners of new Ford EVs will be able to pull into a Supercharger station and juice up, no problem. General Motors Cadillac Lyriq. Cadillac GM will also allow its EV drivers to plug into Tesla stations.

The car you see above is the 2014 Chevrolet SS, and it's important both because it is the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from Chevy in 17 years, and because it will be the nameplate the brand uses on NASCAR tracks all across the country starting this year.
Though it wears a name as American as baseball and apple pie, the machine was actually designed and built in Australia, sharing most of its parts with the brand-new VF-model Holden Commodore. That said, the basic chassis bits are shared with other Chevrolet models like the Camaro and Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle.
While Chevrolet is happy to sell a Malibu or Impala to anyone looking for a mainstream family sedan, but the SS is reserved for buyers interested first and foremost in performance. Most sedans sold these days are front-wheel drive, which is great for everyday driving and when the weather goes bad, but the SS is instead a rear-wheel-drive vehicle aimed at enthusiasts who love to drive and who prefer speed and performance above all else.

A couple weeks ago, we watched a Chevrolet Silverado get dominated by a Dodge Ram Heavy Duty in a fullsize pickup tug-of-war, but in that truck's defense, Chevy's Vortec gas engine was no match for the torquey Cummins turbo diesel. For our next round of vehicular tug-of-war, a Duramax-powered Silverado HD takes on Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI.
Now, on paper, putting the Duramax V8's 365 horsepower and 660 pound-feet of torque up against the V10's 310 hp and 553 lb-ft looks like an easy win for the Bowtie, but unfortunately, this battle has a similar result as the Dodge versus Chevy video, with the Silverado smoking its tires trying to move forward as it gets pulled backwards. Put another way: YouTube 2, Chevy Silverado 0.
It just goes to show, though, that big tires, bolt-on fender flares and goofy smoke stacks don't improve your towing abilities. Besides, what did the Silverado driver expect when the Touareg V10 TDI has towed a Boeing 747 in the past?
