This classic C10 has received a frame off restoration and is an awesome custom HOT ROD truck that is ready to go anywhere right now, turn key driver and could be a daily use vehicle if desired. This 1972 C10 is bagged, fun & comfortable. With a touch of a button the truck sets itself to a perfect ride heights. Air Ride/Ridetech makes programing the 3 preset custom air suspension slot settings easy and fast. Also you can adjust a single bag/side on the spot which can be pretty dang fun. As of right now the truck is set for total slammed, normal ride height for safe street cruising and then high rise to get in and out of driveway dips.

The truck has gone through a high quality and timely Frame-off restoration process (inside & out) and finished up with quality high-end performance enhancements by a very talented local East Bay HOT ROD & Custom Builder. This truck runs very strong, sounds mean and is a smooth cruiser. Starts up easy every time, does not leak a drop and has a cool custom stereo with a removable CD deck and sub. New and custom lighting inside and out. Upgraded headlamps with new glass and a high quality HID conversion.

Solid truck, runs and drives great. A truly fun classic Chevy truck.
Clean California TITLE and registered up to date

Pictures do not do this truck justice at all. Beautiful inside and out! I could go on and on about this truck. Its a valuable investment for a super cool custom hot rod truck thats very enjoyable and built right from the ground up.

It is has been kept inside a climate controlled private garage in the East Bay. Never in the rain or dirt. This truck has seeing very limited use and milage. If you are looking for an awesome collectibleclassic that is ready to enjoy right outta the box then you must check out this 1972

This era of the Chevrolet C10 trucks are sought after classic vehicles, this is the last year of the "rounded" fenders and bed people love. Not to mention this particular truck has had $40,000 invested into creating the beautiful custom classic you see here. I believe this is quite a smoking deal for such an awesome truck that is a true american classic.

Watch this creative way to pull a truck's engine

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.
For these types of challenges, a little ingenuity and plenty of muscle are needed to get the job done. Scroll down to watch these four men snatch the V8 out of a Chevrolet K1500 using nothing but a chain, landscape timber and good ol' fashioned brute strength. Good work, gentlemen.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

GM is quietly slashing prices on base models

Fri, Jan 30 2015

While General Motors' fourth quarter financial figures haven't yet been released, the automaker seems to be weathering a potentially rocky time well, even beating third-quarter projections last year. To keep the climb going, the company is launching new base trims for several popular models that make them cheaper than ever but with tight dealer margins. The new entry-level trims are the Chevrolet Cruze L, Equinox L, GMC Terrain SL and Buick LaCrosse 1SV. Buyers lose some content by picking them, but the prices are slashed. According to Cars Direct, the biggest savings are on the LaCrosse, where customers pay $31,065, plus $925 destination, $2,570 less than the previous base 1SB trim but must accept things like 17-inch wheels and no cargo net in the back. If you're wondering how Buick can remove only a little equipment but cut the price so much, it's because the company also slashed dealer margins. According to Cars Direct, the difference between the invoice and MSRP for the LaCrosse 1SV is only around $150, compared to around $1,350 before. The disparity is even greater for the Cruze with an $81 difference in the prices, compared to about $600 for the LS version. Showrooms are expected to keep very low stocks of these trims, though. "Dealers use such vehicles to get people in the door, but they do not generally want to do high volumes of these strippers. The margins are next to nothing; they don't make much money off these cars," said Ed Kim, Vice President of Industry Analysis for AutoPacific to Autoblog. Dealers are also expected to advertise that these new base trims undercut major competitors. For example, the Cruze L rings up for about $2,320 less than a Honda Civic LX, according to Cars Direct. One potential drawback for buyers is that these models might not be eligible for incentives. While the attractive prices might get customers into dealers, folks may not actually end up driving home with these entry-level models. Kim indicated base trims also make up a small portion of the sales mix. "Consumers aren't asking for stripped out vehicles, even at the low end of the marketplace," he said.
