Hello!! This auction is for an excellent 1971 Chevrolet Pickup. This is one of the nicest pickups we've had in a long time. It rides beautifully. It is in very good original condition...even the heat riser is still attached to the manifold! Acceleration is right there. Runs strong as is, but from sitting could probably use a tune-up. Stops straight and steers firmly. This truck has air conditioning that is complete and working. Does not blow super cold, but does work. The pictures make the paint look better than actual and the rust look worse than actual. Spot lights work, but the handles have deteriorated. Has late model wheels and lots of tread on the tires! The truck bed is in very good condition with virtually no dents in the bottom. There is an auxiliary gas tank on the driver's side. Rust on the truck is confined to the passenger side rocker area. Floors, firewall and all other sheet metal is clear. Previous owner just put some new parts on it...starter, alternator, carrier bearing, exhaust!! Here is your chance to own a clean, comfortable driver quality truck. Better than driver quality actually! Looks to have originally lived in Oklahoma and came to us from Fontana CA. Watch a 2015 Corvette Z06 run the quarter in 11.7 seconds
Sun, Dec 28 2014We're not writing about this because it's an amazing run, we're writing about it because it appears to be the first run. Someone took a 2015 Corvette Z06 to Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas and blasted it down through the quarter mile. It's still wearing the dealer number in wax pen on the windshield and dealer plates, so this example is fresh from the mold. It's also a seven-speed manual. General Motors said the row-your-own Z06 can do the 'strip in 11.2 seconds, and they undoubtedly had a professional driver and more than one run to set that time. To have Just Some Guy show up at the raceway and do an 11.7 at 120.54 mph on his first run means we expect good things to come as Z06s get delivered to their owners. Check out the run in the video.

Mon, Apr 14 2014NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick loves buying first-built Chevrolet models for charity. He paid $1 million to buy the first production 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible and $650,000 to get the first 2014 Chevy Camaro Z/28. Hendrick's latest purchase happened at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Palm Beach where he got into a bidding war to pay $1 million to get the first 2015 Corvette Z06. The bidding came quick with the car reaching $100,000 within 3 seconds and hitting $500,000 in about 35 seconds. The money from the sale was donated to the Karmanos Cancer Institute.
