This is a very cool '69 Chevy Custom 10 SWB truck. The truck is very straight and solid and was originally red inside and out.In fact the interior, door jams and under hood are still the original paint,I left it that way in case the next owner wanted to go back red with it.The black on it is Hot Rod Black semi-gloss urethane, not just black primer. It also has a complete new side trim kit from Ekler's'.The body, floors and bed are very solid and really the only rust that I could find is a little in two of the cab mounts which is pictured. The interior is in great shape and everything works except for the original AM radio and it has a seat from an '89 Chevy truck that is real comfortable in this truck. The motor is a real strong running 350 with a mild cam, headers and Q-Jet four barrel carb and new 2.5 inch Flow-master exhaust which sounds great. The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a shift kit.The truck has factory power disc brakes and power steering. The following parts are new:starter,1 wire alternator, battery, exhaust, rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. This truck is an awesome driver and gets alot of attention. Thanks for looking and good luck!

General Motors shaking up its marketing... again
Wed, 13 Mar 2013One of the things that dogs the full comeback of General Motors is the instability of its marketing. That part of the automaker got yet another big shakeup today when GM confirmed what I have been tweeting for a few days - strong rumors that the Chevrolet and Cadillac ad accounts are walking to new ad agencies.
Cadillac, GM's luxury brand, is going into review from Fallon Worldwide, Minneapolis and the indications are that Campbell-Ewald, Chevy's old ad shop, will end up with most or all of it. C-E just announced that it was moving from its long-time home in Warren, MI to a new downtown Detroit office next to Ford Field, just blocks from GM.
The other shoe to drop shortly will be the shift of GM's most important brand, Chevy, from Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco to McCann-Erickson of Troy, MI. McCann used to be the agency for Buick and GMC, as well as GM's corporate advertising, and has retained some pieces of business over the last few years. Sources have even told us that it was McCann that did a lot of the creative work on Chevy's new ad platform, Find New Roads. (Not to be confused with a former McCann tagline for Saab, "Find Your Own Road.")
