This is a 1968 Chevy K10, C10 pickup, 4 Speed, 4x4 Short Bed truck. It has been redone and It is extremely Clean & Solid inside and out. The cab corners, rockers, floor, floor/cab braces and frame all appear to be rust free. The only rust is on the door edges as seen in the pictures and that is very minor and an easy fix. The interior was redone with some minor custom touches. It has a newer steering column and steering wheel. (ignition is a bit snug when turning on and off). The gas tank has been mounted under the bed and a nice Stereo System with a custom made speaker box was installed behind the seat (see pics). The panels are very nice, straight and the paint is very nice, shinny but not perfect with some minor blemishes, and chips ( I can send more pics. Ebay only allows 24). I thought about rolling in a bed liner but I decided against it at this time, so any buyer can see the clean, rust free condition of the bed. There is some minor dents and peeling to the right wheel tub as seen in the pic.
The truck is 79" tall and fits inside my standard garage.
Look at the pictures of the underside and you can see that it is truly a clean and rust free frame, floor cab/floor supports and rockers. I will be glad to send more pictures upon request.
I have attempted to describe the truck to the best of my knowledge and it is sold "As-Is" and without any implied warranty, so please ask questions before placing a bid.
$500 deposit due within 24 hrs of auction close and balance due within 7 days. I can assist in arranging shipping and Shipping is not a problem as it will fit on most carriers, but please ask questions and check first. Also Please don't wait to long to have shipping arranged as I need the room and can not keep it for any extended time.
Good Luck.

GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
GM won't pay owners of recalled cars for lost value
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Kenneth Feinberg, the man in charge of the General Motors compensation fund dealing with the its widespread ignition switch woes, has issued an informal, two-letter response to the plaintiffs in more than 70 lawsuits seeking redress for lost resale value of their Cobalts: "No." The cases were recently combined into one, but Feinberg told The Detroit News that the fund will deal "only with death and physical injury claims," and that "perceived diminished value" will get no consideration.
ALG, the firm specializing in establishing residual values, determined that Cobalt owners had lost $300 compared to the segment competition and doesn't envision any long-term effects from the recall situation. Feinberg's statement comes in advance of public details on how the compensation fund will work and adheres to GM's long-held position on the matter. The company has already asked a judge to throw out such suits using the pre-bankruptcy defense, even as it stopped using that defense in cases of injury and death.
With plenty of potential gain from the GM suit, however, don't expect the plaintiffs to give up yet. When Toyota was sued for the same reason during the unintended acceleration debacle, it eventually settled the case for between $1 billion and $1.4 billion just to get it over with. Since the 85 law firms involved in the Toyota litigation took home more than $250 million of that total, we shouldn't expect the attorneys to give up on a GM payout, either.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
