I have a RAD daily driver here freshly done. This is not a Barret- Jackson, but a sweet ride. No bondo buggy, it had dents that were repaired but no rot! Basically took care of bumps/bruises then did a color change.

THE GOOD & WHAT IT HAS:
-Fresh flat mint house of color paint
-Interior all black with chrome door panels & glove box door. bench seat nice no issues
-All new radials 14" & 15". steel wheels. new beauty rings, and moon covers. covers not shown.
-Brakes, power. lots o life left. was inspected here in NY in the fall. no issues!
-Power steering
-Rear is bagged correctly! not hacked up
-Super stong 1970 350/turbo 350 tranny  auto all nice. had motor on stand, replaced every single gasket. new: HEI distributor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, thermostat,. clean up 4barrel carb & exhaust. I'm sure I'm forgetting something. A lot has been done . Fresh paint on motor & compartment too. Timed right on etc. All wiring legit 100%. Drive anywhere.
-All chrome on truck new from LMC. grill, head light bezels, bumper, lights, bolts all new!
-Sick pinstripe job by local hot rodder
-Rear bed floor is sweet, on top and underneath.
- Tail gate nice, new chains & covers
-New tail lights
-Under carriage is mint, no issues. no rust/rot nothing. all solid
-All is in good working order. nothing leaks

THE BAD/NOT SO GREAT:
-Has 2 chips in windshield. look like real old BB gun shots? They have been there a long time. Will not start crack along glass etc. and at bottom of windshield only, has that white fog about an inch up.
-Could use some weather stripping? did'nt bother me, but if you want it mint? little tired
-Radio and speakers are EH?
-Carpet is nice but have no idea where it's from, it's nice but not a factory chevy carpet. Was there when I bought truck.
-Speedo does not work? why? I did'nt care

I think I covered it all. I'm not a dealer. I'm trying to be as up front as possible! Just a good ol hot rod ready to cruise!

Weekly Recap: Autonomous driving goes commercial in Nevada

Sat, May 9 2015

Nevada granted Daimler Trucks North America the first license to run an autonomous commercial vehicle on public roads in the United States Tuesday, marking another milestone in the technology's rapid advancement. Gov. Brian Sandoval and Daimler truck chief Wolfgang Bernhard promptly used the license to lap Highway 15 near Las Vegas in a newly revealed Freightliner Inspiration Truck. It was a clear signal that autonomous driving is big-rig reality, though it's still a long way from widespread use. Nevada certified two of Daimler's Freightliner Inspiration Trucks, which use the company's Highway Pilot system with a stereo camera, radar, and lane-keeping collision-prevention features to regulate the brakes and steering. The radar component has a long-range sensor that can cover 820 feet at an 18-degree angle and a shorter-range unit that stretches 230 feet at a 130-degree angle. The Inspiration trucks are based on the existing Freightliner Cascadia Evolution model used on US roads. In addition to the autonomous technologies, it also has futuristic design cues, including blue lighting in the front and a new hood and grille. While there are only two Freightliner Inspiration trucks in existence, Daimler expects to bring the Highway Pilot system into mass-produced big rigs by 2025, in time to capitalize on the market's predicted growth. The German truckmaker predicts the global hauling market will triple by 2050, and the United States will be a key part of that growth. Trucks carry 69.1 percent the nation's domestic freight tonnage and hauled 9.7 billion tons of freight in 2013, according to the American Trucking Association. Daimler expects autonomous driving to augment this growth, and perhaps evolve the role of the truck driver. Still, the company points out autonomous tech is not meant to replace drivers, but to assist them and relieve fatigue and monotony on long hauls. The driver has to stay in control for passing, in city traffic, and when hooking up the trailer. The company said autonomous driving also offers the potential for improved fuel economy – tests showed a five-percent gain – and lower maintenance costs. Daimler also said the technology could reduce congestion on the road. Much of this is attributable to the constant flow of traffic, which is aided by autonomous driving. While the benefits are becoming increasingly apparent, autonomous technology is still met with skepticism.

MotorWeek looks back at 1995 Chevy Tahoe, GMC Yukon

Sat, Jun 20 2015

MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
