**SUPER CUSTOM MILITARY CHEVY K5 BLAZER**

OFF ROAD/ON ROAD/MOUNTAIN/RANCH/WAR/SHTF/ZOMBIE TRUCK!!!!!!!!!

86 Chevrolet K5 Blazer. Fully customized from the ground up, no expense was spared on the build, totaling over 55k. This 1 of a kind truck could be used for many different purposes, from a show truck, advertisement for your business, an expedition truck used for camping/towing trailer out in the middle of no where or an end of the world zombie attack truck! This truck could be daily driven with no worries, its very reliable and gets decent fuel mileage with the LS motor! Listed below is a short list of the modifications/upgrades done.

Drive train:

2004 5.3L LS engine, bored to a 5.7L, mild cam and valve springs and long tube headers. Recently rebuilt with only 1000 miles, with paperwork!  Brand new Sanden A/C system
700r4/4l60 overdrive transmission, recently rebuilt with paperwork, only 7700 miles
3/4 ton axles with upgraded gears, Detroit lockers front and rear, disc brakes front and rear, everything was rebuilt, bearings and seals (both axles), ball joints, tie rods (all moog), warn premium hubs, wheel bearings, essentially everything was replaced or upgraded.
np208 transfer case rebuilt with 7700 miles (paperwork too)
37" military Goodyear tires mounted on hummer h1 double bead lock wheels with the run flats.
Dual Batteries with battery isolator

Exterior:

1.75 inch .120 wall DOM Exo-cage. This cage has countless hours of engineering and quality workmanship put into it. It is 100% professional, not a joe-blow backyard built with a 110v welder. All the welds were done with a massive 220v welder and are very clean. Tire swing is mounted on chromoly heim joints for the piviot and polyurathane bushings at the latch points.
Bumpers are made of 3/16 plate steel, which is double layered in most spots. front bumper has a smittybuilt 15k winch mounted in it.  The canvas top is made from military grade material that will not tear or come apart at freeway speeds. At freeway speeds, the truck is air tight.
Under the canvas top is another roll cage that houses a custom hand built rear window track, that allows the rear window to be fully functional.  RIGID LED lights mounted to the roof rack. (2k worth of lights).  Polyurethane bushings throughout truck including body mounts

Interior:

DIY4X Aluminum dash loaded with AutoMeter gauges, A/C and Heat vents, Pioneer stereo system, and all high end rubber coated switches.  B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter for the overdrive transmission.  Custom bucket seats, front and rear.  Lizard skin top and bottom of the truck. Really works good, very little road noise.  Custom touches throughout like grenade 4x4 shifter, 50 cal bullet for e-brake release.  CB and Siren/PA System

I know I'm forgetting more details. The list goes on and on with custom touches and upgrades. This truly is a 1 of a kind truck, it draws massive amounts of attention at car shows. This truck was never off-roaded. It was used as advertisement for a local gun shop in Mesa.

The entire roll cage was built with high end machined couplings for complete removal if ever needed. The custom roof rack is also completely removable if you need to modify it to fit a turret for a .50 Cal. The inner steel topper is also removable if you ever wanted to put a original hard top back on UNDER the roll cage. That's right, I thought of almost everything. The rear window rolls into a weather seal in the steel inner custom frame. There is also a Power Inverter under the passenger seat and a custom drive shaft. It now has a dual exhaust that exits on the right and left side, all matt black and custom. Sounds amazing. The stereo is a 1,000 watts and has custom speakers in the rear. Also comes with a custom button in cabin divider not shown. This allows you to close the the forward cabin to keep in the heat or A/C.

Comes with a spare Hummer Run flat tire with custom tire cover

***2 almost impossible to find BRAND SPANKING NEW Scepter Military fuel tanks on the rear swing gate which also contains custom locks to prevent any idiot from actually attempting to steal from a truck like this. Never had anyone try yet, just the look of this truck is enough for people to know not to screw with the owner!***

I added some pictures of the LS Motor prior to it being installed. Sounds amazing with the 3" Dual exhaust pipes not shown in pics.

Netflix to feature electric cars from GM and others in programming

Sun, Feb 5 2023

LOS ANGELES — Netflix has unveiled a new star for some of its upcoming programming: electric vehicles from General Motors and other automakers. The streaming service announced an agreement on Thursday to feature vehicles including the Chevrolet Bolt, the electric GMC Hummer pickup and the Cadillac Lyriq in TV series and films "where relevant." The companies will highlight the partnership in a commercial featuring Will Ferrell that will air during the Feb. 12 Super Bowl. Netflix and GM called the agreement "part of a commitment to a more sustainable future." Financial terms were not disclosed. Netflix said it will help creators "better understand how EVs can complement and enhance their stories." Shows that will feature GM's electric vehicles include "Love is Blind," "Queer Eye" and "Unstable." Netflix productions also will include electric vehicles made by other automakers, the company said.   Marketing/Advertising TV/Movies Chevrolet GM GMC Hummer

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.
