I have a set of custom PRP recliner suspention seats mounted on sliders for a total of 6" travel, but have the stock seats and brackets if interested, also new seat belts for the driver and pass, new center consul. This project has 2,200 miles on it, yes thats it,just broke in and it runs so good, I just need to recoop some funds as I am buying a house. The interior is bare and no carpet, the body is super clean and no rust, very minor dings as this is an AZ blazer, I have many extra parts that will go with it.... Please feel free to ask questaions, There is I'm sure alot of stuff I left out.. I must sell ,any reasonable offer will be taken......also I can take more pics, just let me know what you want pics of...I just added a couple more pics, better view of the guage pannel with engine running, and a full view of engine compartment, also it has a flowmaster muffler and is a 2.5 mandrel bent tube into a three inch flowmaster and three inch mandrel bent out the rear,it's a two into one system, and has a 3" ball flange welded in so the system comes out in two pieces . also it has urethane fully incapsulated engine mounts and a urethane trans mount and a custom fully encapsulated urethane transfercase torque arm, also forgot it has a new 4 row radiator with a severe duty clutch fan. I have brand new lower carpet pannels for the doors, another dash inlay that fits the guages you see, some new ac vents, and another dast inlay that goes across the passanger side dash,a spare new rad overflow tank, all this stuff was over ordered . I have a fuel tank skid plate thats not mounted and by the way the fuel tank is a 30 gal and when the guage hits E there is 5 gal left.....that will get you 60 miles....the spedometer is dead nuts accurate as it is an electric spedo and calibrated by three mile post and the pust of a button. As you can see I did not cut the dash for a stero and the toggle switch you see is for the fuel pump relay, flip it on and the fuel pump runs with the engine off to adjust the fuel pressure and also a good way to drain the tank or give your buddy some gas out on the trail as there are two bulk head fittings one in the pressure and one in the return line that are easy to get to...

Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers
Wed, Aug 14 2024Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.
GM executive chief EV engineer says reducing cost of plug-in vehicles is 'huge priority'
Mon, Mar 17 2014As we know, another major automaker investing heavily in electrified vehicles is General Motors, and it's doing things much differently than rivals BMW, Ford or Nissan. The Chevrolet Volt extended-range EV is a modest seller at its $35,000 sticker price but a huge hit with owners. The Chevy Spark BEV, still in limited availability, puts smiley faces on its owners and drivers. The just-introduced Cadillac ELR, a sharp-looking, fun-driving $76,000 luxocoupe take on the Volt's EREV mechanicals, has admittedly low sales expectations. With this interesting trio in showrooms and much more in the works, the third vehicle electrification leader I collared for an interview at Detroit's North American International Auto Show (see #1 and #2) was Pam Fletcher, GM's executive chief engineer, Electrified Vehicles. ABG: Why do your EREVs need four-cylinder power to extend their range when BMW's i3 makes do with an optional 650 cc two-banger? "We designed [the Volt and the ELR] to go anywhere, any time" - Pam Fletcher PF: I get that question all the time: why not something smaller? You don't really need that much. You use the electric to its ability, then you just need to limp. But we designed those cars to go anywhere, any time, and we don't want their performance to be compromised. If you're driving through the mountains, we don't want you to be crawling up grades, or to be limited on any terrain. So it's optimized to be able to travel literally the biggest grades and mountain roads around the globe at posted speeds. Because what if you can't? Another good reason: when the engine is on, you have to run it wide open throttle, max speed, most of the time. And while we can do a lot with acoustics, and the ELR has active noise cancelation, a small-displacement, low cylinder-count engine at high speed, high load all the time isn't something you want to live with. That's how we came up with the balance we did among the key factors of performance, NVH [noise, vibration and harshness] and range. ABG: Where you go from here? Is the range-extender engine due for an update? PF: We know and love the current Volt, and there is still a lot of acclaim about it, so we think it's a good recipe. But we are heavily in the midst of engineering the next-generation car, which I think everyone will love and be excited about.
Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
