Hi I am the owner and operator of a taxi limousine company about 8 miles outside of Atlantic City New Jersey.  On occasions when I sell one of my high mileage limousines I get a vehicle in on a trade in. This is one of them. Up for sale is this 2005 Chevy blazer SUV it's the six-cylinder automatic 4 x 4. I personally drove this car about 20 miles and back to have it professionally detailed. It runs and drives beautiful, the motor is quiet, transmission shifts good. The 4 x 4 works great! It's fully loaded everything seem to work! The air conditioning was cold. There is a few minor nicks scrapes and scratches, one of the rear bumpers does have a few bumps, all in all it's a good clean truck. With a few minor body blemishes ( nothing you would take to a body shop ) the interior is very clean and neat, just professionally cleaned by our company. The tires have good tread, all tires are mismatched. All in all this is a good low mileage vehicle. With plenty of life left in it. I would have no hesitation driving this car cross country at this very moment. Vehicle is located at 7080 Black horse Pike Pleasantville, NJ 08232 and can be seen daily from 9 AM to 9 PM. I strongly suggest that you me first at 609-453-9775 before hitting the buy it now button. Car is being sold ((( as is ))) with no warranty at all.  I do have additional pictures. Please call 609-453-9775 daily till 9 PM Price is 4500 cash face-to-face in person.

GM CEO to meet with U.S. lawmakers over job cuts

Fri, Nov 30 2018

WASHINGTON — General Motors Co Chief Executive Mary Barra plans to visit Capitol Hill next week to discuss the company's plans to halt production at five plants in North America next year and cut up to 15,000 jobs, two congressional aides said on Friday. GM has come under harsh criticism from lawmakers from both major political parties, and from President Donald Trump, since Monday when it announced the biggest restructuring for the U.S. No. 1 carmaker since its bankruptcy a decade ago. Barra is expected to meet with lawmakers from Michigan and Ohio, where GM plans to shutter three plants, as well as senior leaders in Congress. GM did not immediately comment. Barra has been calling lawmakers this week to explain the decision to end production. Trump has threatened to revoke subsidies for GM. The Detroit automaker plans to halt production next year at three assembly plants: the Lordstown small-car factory near Youngstown, Ohio; the Detroit-Hamtramck complex in Detroit; and the Oshawa, Ontario, assembly complex near Toronto. It will also stop building several models now assembled at those plants, including the Chevrolet Cruze, the Chevrolet Volt hybrid, the Cadillac CT6 and the Buick LaCrosse. Additionally, GM plans to shutter the Warren transmission plant outside Detroit and a plant that makes electric motors and drivetrains outside Baltimore, Maryland. The Cruze compact car will be discontinued in the U.S. market in 2019, although GM may continue building it in Mexico for other markets, Barra said. Reporting by David Shepardson. Related Video:

GM slashes prices in China as sales falter

Thu, May 14 2015

Buying a vehicle from General Motors' stable of brands might be a lot cheaper in the near future – at least for customers in China. The effort comes as GM hopes to keep sales there growing, and the decision alludes to yet another sign that the Asian country no longer has the booming auto market of past years. GM and its Chinese joint venture partner SAIC are slashing prices by as much as the equivalent to $8,700 on 40 models from Buick, Chevrolet, and Cadillac, according to The Detroit News. Across all of automaker's nameplates, the overall sales dipped in China in April by 0.4 percent to 258,484 vehicles. Among the drops, Buick was down 8.5 percent, and Chevy shrunk 5.6 percent. Caddy's numbers increased 4.6 percent for the month, though. Buick remains a popular brand in the minds of Chinese consumers, but according to The Detroit News domestic automakers there are starting to eat into the dominance of foreign companies in the market. The country remains important for GM, though. Late last year, it outlined a future strategy that included China as a major pillar, including a $14 billion investment to build five new factories and boost sales. GM cars and SUVs recalled for leaking transmission fluid

Thu, Nov 5 2020

General Motors is recalling more than 194,000 vehicles from 2018 to 2020 due to transmission fluid leaks. The leaks stem from an auto stop-start component that may have been installed with loose or missing bolts. The leaking fluid can affect the transmission's performance, and if it leaks onto a hot exhaust component, could potentially cause a fire. GM says that to date, it knows of no accidents or injuries related to the defect. The issue affects models from all four GM divisions. From Chevrolet, the affected vehicles are: 2018 Malibu, 2018–2019 Cruze, 2018Β–2020 Equinox, 2018Β–2020 Traverse, 2019Β–2020 Blazer At Buick, the following models are included: 2018Β–2019 LaCrosse, 2019Β–2020 Encore, 2019Β–2020 Enclave, At GMC, the recall includes: 2018Β–2020 Terrain, 2019Β–2020 Acadia Cadillac has two affected vehicles: 2019Β–2020 XT4 and 2020 XT6 The recall is scheduled to begin in mid-December. Owners of the affected vehicles will be contacted. Dealers will inspect the transmission accumulator, and replace those with loose or missing bolts.
