2002 Chevrolet Zr2 Blazer Ls No Reserve on 2040-cars
Chagrin Falls, Ohio, United States
This truck has treated me incredibly well over the past 5 years that I have owned it. It is a ZR2 package, and I challenge you to find one in better condition than this one. It has been garage kept and routinely maintained with the receipts to prove it! I have added a high flow Gibson Performance Exhaust, and a K&N cold air intake, and a High-Flow Catalytic Converter, in order to boost the gas mileage up to an average of 19 mpg. All brakes and rotors have been recently replaced and are under warranty, and the tires have less than 10,000 miles on them. Inside the audio has been completely cleaned out. 6 brand new Kicker Audio speakers are hooked up to a stereo that allows for Ipod, MP3, and hands free phone capability with HD radio as well. The truck also has a remote start for cold days and a touch-sensitive anti theft system. I am moving in just a few weeks and I cannot take the truck with me so I need it sold ASAP. The truck is up WITHOUT RESERVE and cannot be taken with me at the end of next week. The rooftop cargo cage is included with truck. Small 2 inch rust area near rear wheel passenger side, and small 3 in. paint bubble on passenger door near window (see pictures).Call or txt any time, would be more than happy to provide additional pictures or information.

Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes
Tue, 28 Aug 2012
Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.

'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia
Fri, Jan 16 2015These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Check out this clip to see just how far this segment has progressed in the past three decades or just get a blast of nostalgia from these now vintage models.
