I have owned this vehicle for almost 8 years, only reason I am selling it is I got a 4 door vehicle because of 3 teenagers. The blazer is a mechanically sound vehicle, has a hitch. Blazer also has a new water pump and intake gaskets, had a full service and tune up including transmission service less than 6 months ago. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles since I have owned it. The vehicle runs and drives good, steering is tight, 4wd works good in vehicle. Tires are somewhere around 50%, has full size spare that has never been used. It is far from perfect if you are looking for that but it isn't the price of a perfect one. If you are wanting a 2 door blazer for daily use or want a dependable 4wd that you don't care to use for less than the price of an atv this would be good for that. The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
