I bought this truck from the Az Police dept as a drug seizure truck. I was going to paint it, fix a couple dings etc... Plans have changed. Picked up a 64 to tinker with..

I got the truck couple months ago. I had a new windshield and rh door glass put in. I changed the oil and checked the other fluids. I put a new battery in it ..receipt is taped to the battery for warranty.

Truck runs great. No noises, smoke , anything. Pretty sure the engine has been changed to something newer, as I can see professionally spliced wiring in one spot. Sound is aggressive running through the true dual flowmaster exhaust.

It has and will smoke the tires across the parking lot.

Ac blows cold. Needs wiper blades.4wd works fine. All lights work. Has A hitch. Brake light is on.. sure it something simple.

Body , from what I see ..Is rust free. Floors, wheels wells , tailgate, fenders, quarters.. all of it.. are really mint.Body does have like 3 spots with very minor dents... Biggest is where the driver door caught the fender when opening..see pic.

Interior is missing some pieces.. and is how I got it. Please look at the photos. Amps and sub in the stereo system are not included. The rest of the speakers and head unit is.

Tires are of 2 different make, but are the same size. All have great tread. I think the fronts may be new.

Nevada Clean Title is in my name and ready to go.

I drove it to dmv for a vin inspection, and it drove fine. Pretty sure you can drive this truck anywhere.. but I have only driven it about 20 miles.

Engine block heater issues force GM to recall 324,226 diesel heavy duty trucks

General Motors has issued a recall on 324,226 diesel heavy duty trucks that could be susceptible to short circuits, and consequently, potential fire. The recall affects several models of heavy duty Chevrolet Silverados and GMC Sierras with optional engine block heaters. GM is recalling seven different truck models spread across three years. The recall affects the 2017-2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD, 2017-2019 Silverado 3500HD, 2019 Silverado 4500HD, 2019 Silverado 5500HD, and 2019 Silverado 6500HD, plus the 2017-2019 GMC Sierra 2500HD and 2017-2019 Sierra 3500HD. Specifically, it includes these models with the 6.6-liter Duramax diesel engines and the optional engine block heater. The recall technically deals not with the engine block heater itself, but the way it is connected. According to NHTSA campaign No. 19V328000, the engine block heater cord or the terminals that link the cord to the heater could short circuit. A short circuit could potentially damage engine components and result in a fire. According to The Detroit News, 19 fires have been reported but nobody has been injured. GM has yet to figure out a fix, and thus has not yet released a notification schedule for affected customers.
