1957 Chevy Project Car. Rare 150 series with a fixed quarter glass. You don't see many of these anymore. Its a rough project. Needs floors, rockers, lower quarters, lower fenders, etc. Frame is solid as far as I can see. It has a V8 in it with corvette valve covers. I highly doubt its original. I will get the numbers off it and post them tomorrow. No trans. I will also get a better shot of the trim tag and decode it. What you see is what you get. MotorWeek's Retro Review series gives us a nostalgic look back at some of the best sports cars and luxury sedans available in the 1980s and '90s. For its latest clip, the show shifts gears to remember the 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. Similar to the success of crossovers today, SUVs were tallying big sales and making big money for automakers in the mid-'90s. The Tahoe and Yukon filled slots in the market as steps down from the larger Suburban. These twins weren't wanting for space, though, with plenty of room to haul around a family. MotorWeek came away generally impressed too, and called the models some "of the better riding sport utilities we've ever experienced." This review comes with some jazzy, electric guitar licks to enjoy in the background.

2016 Chevy Volt to make auto show debut this season

Ever since we saw that spy shots of the 2016 Chevy Volt, we've been hungering for more information on the next-gen version of GM's green halo car. It appears we might not have long to wait, at least for an official tease. An inside source that wishes to remain anonymous told AutoblogGreen that GM will make two announcements regarding the second-gen Volt at the CAR Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, MI next week. The first, and most intriguing, is that that we will get our first glimpse of the new Volt at some point during the upcoming auto show season. That means either Los Angeles later this year or else Detroit, Chicago or New York in early 2015. The second bit of news is that GM will be moving production of the electric motors from Mexico to Michigan. Details and official confirmation are, of course, missing and Chevrolet declined comment to AutoblogGreen. We should know more next week.

Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22.
