tropical turquoise 1957 Chevy Bel Air 2 Door Hardtop. Features of this car include:
1a. This is a two door hardtop. No post.
1b. New power steering.
1. This is a California manufactured car. The Vin verifies it.
2. It is a True Bel Air - Not a 210 with Bel Air Trim - Again Vin Verifies this
3. Has the Vin and the cowl tag on the vehicle.
4. Clear Title
5. 350 cubic inch V8 engine
6. 350 turbo trans
7. Lokar Shifter on the floor. Gives that sporty manual racing look, but is an automatic.

25. Beautiful new headliner installed.
26. New Battery too
There are so many other things I have had done for the vehicle. Seals on some windows have been replaced, the
mechanisms for rolling up the windows I paid to have replace, replaced a front side window. Have babied it with
its oil changes and service needs such as a recent transmission service.
SAFETY FEATURES
1. New 3 Point Seat Belts for the front seat and new 3 point seat belts for the rear seats. These were installed
by a professional. (the front middle seat and the back middle seat are just lap belts) - Got all belts to match
the tropical turquoise color too.
2. New Collapsible steering wheel column. As much as I love and have studied 57 Chevy Cars, this I did not know.
When I told a fellow 57 enthusiast I was getting 3 point belts, he asked me if I was getting them on the driver's
side to hold me in while I got harpooned. I was perplexed and asked what he meant. That's when I learned that the
steering wheel column in the original cars didn't collapse and gets forced into the driver's compartment. When I
learned that, I immediately updated it to take advantage of that major safety upgrade. I don't drive much, but
when I'm driving and when I have little ones in the car, I think safety first.

Some 2012-13 Chevy Volts may not have enough battery coolant
Mon, Jun 23 2014The 2012 and 2013 model year Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle may have a battery glitch caused by low coolant levels. No recall has been issued and General Motors is taking care of the issue at no cost to drivers. Some of the affected Volts may have lower-than-advisable coolant levels because of some pesky air pockets in the car's cooling circuit. When the coolant levels get too low, the charging system for the battery powering the car's onboard generator (i.e. the Rechargeable Energy Storage System, or the RESS) may be shut down, turning one's Volt into a run-of-the-mill gas-powered car, and a pricey one at that. The Car Connection says GM is advising owners of the '12 and '13 Volts to contact their local Chevy dealer for a free fix. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGreen for more details. We believe this is a separate issue than the one that brought 8,000 Volts back to the dealers for a battery coolant fix, what GM called a "voluntary customer satisfaction effort," a few years ago. General Motors sold 23,094 Chevy Volts last year after selling 23,461 Volts in 2012, so that fix-it list may get fairly lengthy. Check out a GM-Volt.com user thread related to this issue here. *UPDATE: Chevrolet spokesman Randy Fox confirmed in an e-mail to AutoblogGreen that the company issued a service bulletin to dealers that they may need to top off coolant levels on certain Volts because of the issue, and that the vehicle will "return to normal charging operation" once that's done.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
This 450-hp electric Lotus Evora is powered by Tesla and Chevrolet
Tue, May 9 2017When someone mentions an electric Lotus, the first thing that comes to mind is the Tesla Roadster, the California-based automaker's first vehicle. That car started life as an Elise before being heavily massaged and adapted by Tesla's engineers. In a similar spirit, the people at Onpoint Dyno are close to finishing Blue Lightning, a track-ready all-electric Lotus Evora. Blue Lightning uses a Tesla drive unit and a Chevrolet Volt battery pack, both mounted in the middle in place of the Evora's 3.5-liter Toyota V6. It's putting down about 450 horsepower at the wheels. The car was built for time attack sessions, so power is fed through custom forged wheels and super sticky Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires, the same ones found on the last Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. There is a custom digital instrument cluster in place of the Lotus gauges. There's also a regen paddle on the left side of the steering wheel. With a full charge, Blue Lighting should go about 120 miles. While the car runs under its own power, it's only about 90 percent complete. It has no power steering, no firewall in between the seats and the motor and battery pack, no A/C, and a large hole where the shift lever used to be. Other final touches include fine-tuning the brakes and suspension. There is also a custom rear bumper coming that should make it look more like the new Lotus Evora 400. Onpoint Dyno expects the car to hit the track in the next month or so. Related Video:
