THIS IS MY WIFE'S 1956 CHEVY 210 2 DR WAGON INTERIOR NEEDS TO BE DONE.ITS A 327 V8 MUNCIE 4 SPEED AND A 10 BOLT POSI REAR END.SHE HAS OWNED IT 10 YEARS AND HAS NEVER DROVE IT.THE PAINT ON A SCALE OF I-10 IS A 6 OR SO. THE FRONT AND REAR FLOOR PANS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH AFTER MARKET PANS THE BODY MOUNTS ARE DECENT THE REAR SEAT PAN AND SPARE TIRE COMPARTMENT ARE NICE.I PUT A NEW MASTER CYLINDER AND FRONT WHEEL CYLINDERS AND GOT IT RUNNING AND DROVE IT. I THINK IT NEEDS NEW VALVE GUIDE SEALS HAS IT PUFF SMOKE WHEN IT IDLES. THE CAR RUNS STRONG AND STILL WILL GET TREE GEARS RUBBER. THESE 2 DR WAGONS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND THE CAR HAS THE ORIGINAL SEATS BUT IS MISSING THE REAR INSIDE GARNISH TRIM. THE DOOR REAR WINDOW ONES ARE PRESENT. Will Chevy Bolt get Opel badge in Europe?
Sat, Mar 7 2015General Motors' European plug-in vehicle name may go from A to B. That's because the Chevrolet Bolt could be sold under GM's Opel brand across the Pond, Automotive News Europe says, citing people familiar with the process that it declined to identify. The Ampera, the European version of the Volt extended-range plug-in vehicle, is being phased out due to poor sales. While the Ampera won the European Car of the Year in 2012, its sales have trended well below expectations. That the Bolt would be sold as an Opel hints to us that GM expects to distribute the electric vehicle in far smaller numbers than in the US. The Bolt, which was introduced in January in its concept version at the North American Auto Show in Detroit, will have a single-charge range of about 200 miles. GM representatives didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from AutoblogGeen on Friday afternoon. The car will also have a price tag in the US of about $30,000, factoring in federal-government tax incentives. That's if those tax incentives are still around in 2017, when the Bolt is expected to debut stateside. Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year.
