Beautiful Two Tone Paint Job
Wow, what a completely meticulously restored auto. This beauty just placed 2nd in it's class at the 2014 Dallas Autorama. The work put into her is top grade, as every nut and bolt has been replaced on her.
Not only does she look good, but the way she drives and handles is amazing. The perfect show car , or a weekend driver, this is a great car.
Walking around the car, you will notice the flawless paint. The restorer found a color as close to original as possible.
She is running around on new tires with factory steel wheels. They have the original style hub cap and beauty ring.
As you can see by the original trim tag, The paint was Glacier Blue/Skyline blue, and the trim tag codes out to Blue/Beige for the interior. The ultra leather interior is amazing.
All the original side chrome has been polished and the front and rear bumpers are new.
Back when hood ornaments ment something, it was hard to beat the size and styling of this one. What might be out of place now and days, totally makes this gal shine just that little bit more.
The back seat of the wagon folds down giving you plenty of room to put all of your car show gear.
Or if you choose, can you imagine a better picnic wagon? or watching soccer games sitting on the tailgate?
There is a spare factory steel wheel but no spare tire.
The front and back seats are actually the originals.
There is an Ididit tilt steering column with the smaller reproduction steering wheel.
The after market a/c is an Old Air unit, and blows cold.
This Handyman wagon is truly one of the nicest we have ever seen.
The engine not only looks good under the hood, it runs very smooth. She starts great and is ready to run as soon as you turn the key. The engine was rebuilt 30 over, with a mild cam, but boy does she runs smooth. The Edelbrock carb was tuned perfect to her liking. This with the cruising gears that were installed, really makes this perfect vehicle to cut away from the cookie cutter SUV's on today's road.
You can see the above hinges and latches below look as though she just came off the factory assembly line. However the under hood paint and chrome far exceeds how she was when stock.
The excellent work finish was not just focused above. The undercarriage has been addressed as well. There was great attention to detail.
Every piece of black metal that could be, was powder coated.
We hope you have enjoyed our presentation of this incredible beautiful Handyman Wagon. Please stop by and see it in person.

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance. So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft). The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure. We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
