$16,000 and this car is yours!  This will be a one time offer!  2 door Chevys are easy to find, 4 door ones are not!  This is a spectacular find....a vintage restored 1955 Chevrolet BEL AIR four door hardtop sedan.  This beautiful and meticulously maintained eye-catching American Classic came from Florida and is in great esthetic and mechanical condition with an odometer that reads 59,144 miles.  Brand new clutch, bushings, stabilizer rod, front shocks, and new floor mats have been added.  The paint is in very good condition.  However, I did notice a few minor flaws which I have photographed close up for everyone to see.  They are barely noticeable unless you're close up and once touched up will be less noticeable.  The radio, windshield wipers, and heater do not work.  Beautiful Skyline Blue/White exterior with a well-appointed blue interior.  The interior is in great condition with no visible flaws in the upholstery or carpeting.  It has an inline 6 engine with a "three on the tree" manual transmission and spoked 16" hubs on 29" width tires with 2.5" wide whitewalls.  Great lines and the doors run true.  It rides nice even going 65 mph.

This car is a "head turner."

I've seen LOTS of other 55 Chevys on here selling for a lot MORE than this, and they have a lot LESS on them.

No apologies on the price are need for this one!  This beauty is priced to sell!  If not sold at this auction, it will be put back into storage for a few more years.  Do not miss this opportunity.

Vehicle is sold "AS IS."
Successful high bidder MUST communicate with me by email within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete the transaction.  If I cannot confirm your intention to buy, or the sale is not completed within 3 days, I reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.  Successful high bidder must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by cashiers check, money order, or bank certified funds (unless sending immediate deposit via PayPal.)  Within 3 days of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds to Seller.

GMC Hummer EV SUV first drive, RIP Camaro, Ferrari Roma Spider | Autoblog Podcast # 773

Fri, Mar 24 2023

In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by News Editor Joel Stocksdale. They start off with one of the week's biggest official news items — the impending death of the sixth-gen Chevrolet Camaro. On the subject of powerful American cars, they pivot to a teaser from Stellantis execs that there are big things ahead for its Dodge Charger SRT Daytona Banshee concept. From there, they look at Ferrari's new topless Roma and then get into Ford's multi-billion-dollar electric vehicle pivot. Speaking of expensive EVs, Joel just got back from driving the new GMC Hummer SUV. He also had the new F-150 Lightning Pro in his driveway, and that's followed by Greg's update on Autoblog's long-term Toyota Sienna.  Autoblog Podcast # 773 Get The Podcast Apple Podcasts – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes Spotify – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast on Spotify RSS – Add the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator MP3 – Download the MP3 directly Rundown News Chevrolet Camaro production will officially end after 2024 model year Dodge CEO teases more to come from Charger SRT Daytona Banshee Ferrari Roma Spider returns a front-engined soft top to the lineup Ford Model e losing billions as it says EV unit should be seen as startup What we're driving Ford F-150 Lightning Pro 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV 2023 Toyota Sienna Platinum AWD Feedback Email – Podcast@Autoblog.com Review the show on Apple Podcasts Autoblog is now live on your smart speakers and voice assistants with the audio Autoblog Daily Digest. Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1

Mon, 11 Feb 2013

The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.

The story of the 2014 Chevrolet SS: "Luxury, power, refinement, handling"

Thu, 07 Mar 2013

Not including the women and men who built it, the 2014 Chevrolet SS has only been seen in person by a piddling number of people - fewer humans than would fill the gymnasium at a high school volleyball game. Not including the men and women who built it, no one has driven it. Even so, it is already saddled with two controversies: the way it looks and the way it shifts.
First to that shifting. Did we love the last Americanized Holden, the awesomely sportsome Pontiac G8 GXP, and its six-speed manual? Of course. Do we wish the SS came with a six-speed manual? Of course. But we'd like a toboggan to come with a manual transmission. We'd put a manual transmission on a weasel if we could because we're just wired that way; if it moves, it should come with a stick and a clutch. Or at least the option.
Let's climb down off the ledge, though. We haven't driven the SS and we have no idea how good (or not) the automatic is. And the Hobson's Choice in transmissions when it comes to sport sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR-S and, oh yeah, cars-that-really-should-have-manuals like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R and Porsche 918 and every single Lamborghini and Ferrari, for instance, hasn't stopped us from enjoying what is clearly the gruesome, dual-clutched demise of Western automotive civilization. Because in spite of our ululations at the dying of the six-speed light, we understand.
