Morehouse, Missouri, United States
Gadberry Sales LLC 106 W. Front Street Morehouse, MO 63868 1-800-600-5606 2008 Avalanche LT 4WD 5.3L Gas This truck was my personal truck that I purchased new in 08. The truck shows to have 197000 miles on it, however the motor was replaced along with just about every other component in the Drivetrain. Here is a list of the things that have been replaced new. New Motor with (57000 mile) New Battery New Front Wheel Bearings New Front Wheel speed sensors New Front Upper Control Arms New Front Upper Ball Joints New Front Lower Ball Joints New Rear Wheel Bearings New Rear Seals New Differential Chunk Bearings and Races New Inner Pinion Bearing and Race New Outer Pinion Bearings and Race New Pinion Seal New Rear Wheel Speed Sensors New U-joints at rear end and Tranny New Carpet New Rear Passenger bottom cushion seat cover The Transmission has just been rebuilt and comes with a 2 year 24000 mile warranty At this time the windshield is cracked but will be replaced in the next few days The tires are in good shape with about 70% tread (see Pictures) The inside of this truck is very very clean ( scratch on wood grain to the right of stereo) The center console is cracked on the drivers side next to the seat, but is not that noticeable. The steering wheel does show signs of wear which is to be expected. The Front Bumper cover has a few imperfections as would be expected As you can see it truly is almost a brand new truck. The reason this was all done was because my son wanted it for his graduation. So, I spent over $6000.00 replacing everything so that he would have a good dependable vehicle for college. A few weeks ago while my wife's Toyota Prius serviced she and I looked at a New Tundra. The next thing I knew I was co-signing for a new Tundra for my son. I chose not to trade it in because they only offered me $15000.00 for it and I know it is worth more than that. However, I am selling and plan to put the money towards the new purchase. So, if your looking for an Avalanche at a good price don't pass this one up. I have all of the receipts for everything listed above and would be more than happy to provide them on request of buyer. |

Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. There's a press release below with more information as well as a video that explains how it works, with the obligatory dig at the 'Vette's biggest foe.
Artist imagines eerie world where cars have no wheels
Thu, 24 Jan 2013The wheel ranks right up there with the telescope and four-slice toaster in the pantheon of inventions that have moved humankind forward. But what if a circle in three dimensions had never occurred to anyone, and we all had just moved on without it? Perhaps we'd be driving around in Lucas Motors Landspeeders with anti-gravity engines. Or maybe we'd have the same cars we do today, just without wheels.
That's the thought experiment that seems to have led French photographer Renaud Marion to create his six-image series called Air Drive. The shots depict cars throughout many eras of motoring that look normal except for one thing: they have no wheels. The models used include a Jaguar XK120, Cadillac DeVille (shown above), Chevrolet El Camino and Camaro, and Mercedes-Benz SL and 300 roadsters.
Perhaps one day when our future becomes our past, you'll be able to walk the street and see with your own eyes the rust and patina of age on our nation's fleet of floating cars. Until then, Monsieur Marion's photographs will have to do.
Watch Evo pick its 2015 Car of the Year in this epic video
Mon, Dec 7 2015With just a few days left in 2015, it's the perfect time to check out Evo's annual Car of the Year test to determine the greatest performance vehicle of the last 12 months. The writers' picks for the 11 finalists spanned a breadth of engaging models and included: Peugeot 208 GTi by Peugeot Sport, Lamborghini Aventador SV, Seat Leon Cupra Sub8, McLaren 675LT, Porsche 991 GT3 RS, Porsche Cayman GT4, Honda Civic Type R, Ferrari 488 GTB, Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, Lotus Evora 400, and Mercedes-AMG GT S. For the venue to test the mettle of these performance machines, Evo stuck close to home this year and visited the twisting roads at the beautiful north coast of Scotland. Racing brothers Marino and Dario Franchitti also came along for the ride to provide two more voices in the competitive challenge to determine a winner. Evo's video explains why each model deserves to be among such rarified company but doesn't gloss over their faults either. There can be only one winner, though. We don't want to spoil it, so check out the clip for magnificent views of these performance machines through the Scottish countryside.
