CARRVA is proud to offer this unique 2007 Chevy Avalanche with its many options, smooth ride, and custom look!

We have just acquired this vehicle from a local auction as a former bank repo.  If you are not familiar with the term, it simply means that someone did not make his monthly payment and the bank had to repossess the vehicle.  We have inspected the vehicle as required in the state of Virginia and everything checked out.  We also road tested the vehicle to ensure its performance and reliability.  It will have a few more miles than listed but nothing substantial.  The following is our most accurate description yet.   Please feel free to ask any questions at any time.  Our staff is ready to assist!

From driving the vehicle on the highway and in the city, the engine and transmission appear smooth and powerful.  All fluids were at top levels and all gauge needles pointed at appropriate marks.  The TPMS (tire pressure monitor sensor) light is on only because of the custom rims.  Sensors do not react well to aftermarket parts at times.  There is also a message board calling to "service suspension" but our state inspection revealed no issues.  It is another faulty message caused by the over-sized wheels. We also noticed two batteries under the hood, one of which was used to connect some sound system before.  There is no speaker box or amplifier in the trunk but the wiring is still there if you are interested in installing sound upgrades.  Under the hood remains clean, as is the rest of the vehicle.

Moreover, this Avalanche has a nearly endless amount of options and everything is in good working order. The options include Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Mirrors, Heated/Leather/Power/Memory seats, Dual climate control, Back-up sensors, Heated Mirrors, Rear Climate Control, Premium Bose Sound System with AUX input and Rear Controls, Power Moonroof, Steering Wheel Commands, Fog Lights, Bug Deflector, Foldable Rear Seats, Step Bars, Roof Racks, Keyless Entry with Alarm and Factory Remote Starter, Rear Airbags, Pull Down Rear Window, ABS...etc.  There is also a back-up camera in the tailgate but it is not connected.  We believe there was an LCD monitor in the front dash and was removed.  Despite the absence of Navigation, it is safe to call this truck FULLY LOADED!

The beauty behind the Avalanche is its ability to convert to a pick up truck in the snap of a few back panels.  It is designed to offer versatility to drivers with occasional need for cargo space without giving up the sporty appeal and luxury feel.  All the bed panels are lightweight, stackable, and removable.  The finish is also in hard plastic to save from scratching them while stored.  The bed has a bedliner, dome light, and tool bag. There is more good use of space in each quarter panel as they embed storage compartments that are lockable. The rear bumper has the back up sensors to help with parking.  However, they were not enough to save this Avalanche.  The rear bumper is pushed in on the right side and appears closer to the body than the left side.  There is a light scratch on the bumper surface around that same area.  The dark color hides it pretty well in the right rear photo but we took some close-up pictures to showcase the damage. There is also some wear on the center armrest in the interior that in shown in a photo.  It is not substantial but remains worth mentioning.

Finally, what sets apart this Avalanche from the rest is its gorgeous custom paint job! It looks Black from one angle and dark Gold from another. Someone suggested the name Petroleum Gold or Black gold as a fitting name. The wheels are another quality upgrades. They are 26 inch rims and tires package, black with a deep dish, and chrome center inserts.  They can be removed for a different look if desired. The tires have a decent amount of thread on it and the photo show the exact size and condition.

The title is clean and the Carfax shows only 2 previous owners. It also suggests a $1460 markup over KBB, considering the options and service history.   By the way, KBB.com suggests a value of $18,703 (without any custom upgrades) so don't miss out on this great deal!

Again, do not hesitate to call us at (804) 874-7778 with any of your questions and inquiries!

HAPPY BIDDING!

Here's why automakers roll out those Texas-themed pickup trucks

Thu, Sep 29 2016

Every year, automakers with a full-size truck link make a big show of the Texas State Fair, usually involving a reveal of a new model. Sometimes they show a whole new truck, and other times a special edition centered on the Lone Star state. While some people might write this off as a quirk of the industry, others might be wondering, "What's the big deal with Texas?" As it turns out, part of the big deal with Texas is big truck sales. According to Dave Sullivan, product analysis manager at AutoPacific, Texas buys more trucks than any other state in the country. It's not a small margin either. Edmunds.com, one in five trucks sold in the US are sold in Texas. The state also accounts for 15 percent of the country's large truck sales, which is more than twice that of California, the second largest truck market in America. Even when you break down sales only in Texas, trucks are a huge piece of the pie - Sullivan says that a quarter of new vehicle sales in Texas are trucks. One in five trucks sold in the US are sold in Texas. But it's not just sales that make truck builders give attention to Texas. As Sullivan explained, "Pickups are life in Texas." Both he and Hugh Milne, marketing and advertising manager for the Chevy Silverado line, said that trucks are key fixtures in Texas society, as both work trucks and luxury vehicles (or Texas Cadillacs as Milne called them). Milne said Texas is so important in the truck market that if you want to be successful in the rest of the country, "you've got to be successful in Texas." As for the State Fair, it has become a prime location for reveals in part because of the importance of the Texas market and because of how big the fair is. Milne also revealed that the State Fair also hosts its own auto show, so it's an ideal venue for a vehicle introduction. So there you have it. Why do truck builders obsess over Texas? It's because Texas obsesses over trucks. When you have one market that loves your product that much, you give it the attention it deserves. GM and Ford quarterly sales continue to slump in China

Fri, Jul 5 2019

BEIJING — General Motors and Ford announced their quarterly sales in China fell, albeit at a slower pace sequentially, as the U.S. automakers were hit by a slowing economy amid the Sino-U.S. trade war. GM's vehicle sales in China for the quarter ended June 30 dropped 12.2%, while Ford's sales slumped by 21.7%. While GM also suffered from heightened competition in its key mid-priced SUV segment, Ford was hurt by the limited new models for customers to choose from. For the first quarter of this year, Ford's sales in China tumbled 35.8 percent while GM's skid 17.5 percent. Still, the numbers from GM, the second biggest international automaker in China by sales, and Ford portend more uncertainty for the industry which is trying to rebound from a downward spiral that led to its first annual sales decline last year in more than two decades. GM delivered 1.57 million vehicles in China in the January-June period this year, while Ford delivered 290,321 vehicles. China's factory activity shrank more than expected in June, highlighting the need for more economic stimulus amid higher U.S. tariffs and weaker domestic demand. Annual car sales in China fell last year for the first time since the 1990s, and they are expected to fall this year too. Sales tumbled 16.4% in May from the same month a year prior, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) said. That marked the 11th consecutive month of decline and followed falls of 14.6% in April and 5.2% in March. U.S. car companies' share of total China passenger vehicles sales fell to 9.6% in the first five months of this year from 10.9% in the year-ago period, according to CAAM. Over the same period, German car makers' share has risen to 23.3% from 20.9% and Japanese auto makers' to 21.3% from 17.3%. CAAM is set to announce June sales next week, which industry analysts forecast will be negative.   New models In China, GM has a joint venture with SAIC Motor Corp, in which the Buick, Chevrolet and Cadillac are made. It also has another venture, with SAIC and GuangxiAutomobile Group, in which they make no-frills minivans and have started to make higher-end cars. Sales of GM's affordable brand Baojun dropped 31.8% for the latest quarter. But luxury brand Cadillac's sales jumped 36.6%. GM sold 3.64 million units in China last year, down from 4.04 units in 2017. Ford makes cars in China through its joint venture with Chongqing Changan Automobile Co and Jiangling Motors Corp (JMC).
