NO RESERVE!!

2002 Chevy Avalanche

Rare 2500 4x4 Z71

Thanks for looking!  You are looking at a NICE Avalanche.  It runs and drives perfect!  There are no check engine lights or abs lights on!  It has the 8.1L V8 and an automatic transmission.  The 4x4 works perfectly.  It also has electric trailer brake hookup.  This truck has power and will tow anything!  There is an aftermarket hitch on it with the reciever.  The engine conpartment is clean!  The engine sounds perfect, no rattles or noises.  The exterior is in very good condition for the year.  All of the paint is in good condition as well as the vinyl cladding.  There is no rust on the body!  There are however a couple of minor bubbles in the paint near 2 of the wheel wells.  I have included pictures and it is hardly noticeable, but it is there.  It has the upgraded wheels.  All are in good condition, but some have some clearcoat peeling, nothing major.  The tires are in very good condition, I would say around 80% left.  They are Michelins and all four match.  It has fog lights that work.  It also has the factory tow hooks up front.  The interior looks like new.  Carpets are clean with no stains.  Check out the pictures: No rips, tears or stains!  Power windows, locks, mirrors.  Cruise control.  Has the CD player, there is a knob missing on the radio.  It has tilt wheel and a center console.

Now for the fine print:

Please remember that this is a "No Reserve" auction.  The winning bidder will win!  Have your funds in order before bidding.  We will make every REASONABLE accomadation for you.  If you have any questions, please ask in advance.  Winning the bid is not an opportunity to come and test drive, ask questions or nit pick the vehicle.  Please do your due diligence before bidding.  We have done our best to accurately describe this vehicle.  If you are an Ohio resident we MUST collect sales tax.  This is NOT our rule, it is the State of Ohio.  If you are out of state, you will be provided with a bill of sale as well as an Ohio title in your name.  There will also be a $190 document fee added to the final bid.  This is to cover fees and misc. expenses.  We will accept the following forms of payments: Cash, Cashiers check from a LOCAL bank, USPS money orders (ONLY United States Postal Money Orders).  If you are getting a loan we will accept a bank check, although the vehicle will NOT be released until the check clears.  We will NOT accept any personal checks.  We require a $200 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end.  If you dont have paypal, dont bid.  If you do not send the deposit, we will file with eBay and relist the vehicle.  Please remember that by being the winning bidder it is a binding contract and will be enforced as such within the law.  All transactions must be completed within 7 days.  There will be a $25/day storage fee over 7 days.

Here's why automakers roll out those Texas-themed pickup trucks

Thu, Sep 29 2016

Every year, automakers with a full-size truck link make a big show of the Texas State Fair, usually involving a reveal of a new model. Sometimes they show a whole new truck, and other times a special edition centered on the Lone Star state. While some people might write this off as a quirk of the industry, others might be wondering, "What's the big deal with Texas?" As it turns out, part of the big deal with Texas is big truck sales. According to Dave Sullivan, product analysis manager at AutoPacific, Texas buys more trucks than any other state in the country. It's not a small margin either. Edmunds.com, one in five trucks sold in the US are sold in Texas. The state also accounts for 15 percent of the country's large truck sales, which is more than twice that of California, the second largest truck market in America. Even when you break down sales only in Texas, trucks are a huge piece of the pie - Sullivan says that a quarter of new vehicle sales in Texas are trucks. One in five trucks sold in the US are sold in Texas. But it's not just sales that make truck builders give attention to Texas. As Sullivan explained, "Pickups are life in Texas." Both he and Hugh Milne, marketing and advertising manager for the Chevy Silverado line, said that trucks are key fixtures in Texas society, as both work trucks and luxury vehicles (or Texas Cadillacs as Milne called them). Milne said Texas is so important in the truck market that if you want to be successful in the rest of the country, "you've got to be successful in Texas." As for the State Fair, it has become a prime location for reveals in part because of the importance of the Texas market and because of how big the fair is. Milne also revealed that the State Fair also hosts its own auto show, so it's an ideal venue for a vehicle introduction. So there you have it. Why do truck builders obsess over Texas? It's because Texas obsesses over trucks. When you have one market that loves your product that much, you give it the attention it deserves. Detroit Three's lucrative pickup war intensifies as Ram makes big gains

Thu, Jan 3 2019

DETROIT — The battle for profits from sales of large pickup trucks is intensifying among the Detroit Three automakers as sales of small cars in the United States shrivel. For decades Ford has had the single best-selling truck brand in its F-Series trucks. General Motors' Chevrolet brand was a solid No. 2, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' Ram was a distant third. Now, that hierarchy may be in flux. Sales figures for December and the fourth quarter released on Thursday show Ram tied with GM's Chevy for the No. 2 spot, as sales of the redesigned Ram pickup surged, fueled in part by demand for an optional 12-inch (30.48 cm) dashboard screen. Chevy not long ago held second place to Ford by a wide margin. GM executives said on Thursday they are bullish on their new GMC and Chevy trucks for 2019.Related: How the Detroit Three's pickups compare on paper 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie review 2019 Chevy Silverado 2.7L four-cylinder review 2019 Ford F-150 2.7L EcoBoost review "There's no doubt this segment (pickup trucks) is one of the epicenters of the auto wars," said Sandor Piszar, director of marketing for Chevrolet at GM. "It's been that way forever, and we wouldn't have it any other way." On Wall Street, investors give electric car leader Tesla a higher valuation than any of the Detroit automakers. But in the nation's heartland, big pickups remain far more popular and profitable than any electric car — and most other consumer vehicles of any kind. Large pickups generate at least $17,000 a vehicle in pretax profit for GM, the company has indicated in disclosures to investors. By contrast, many Detroit Three sedans are so unprofitable, their manufacturers have decided not to build them anymore. 'Hotly contested' Sustaining sales and pricing in the large-pickup segment will be critical in a year when most forecasters expect overall U.S. car and light truck sales to fall. Ford's U.S. sales chief, Mark LaNeve, on Thursday called the F Series "the backbone of our franchise" during a conference call, and added the "segment will continue to be strong, but hotly contested" in 2019. Automakers are banking on pickup truck sales to stay strong even if U.S. interest rates continue to rise. Rising interest rates translate into higher monthly car payments and are expected to deter some buyers in 2019. GM has said 27 percent of Chevrolet and GMC trucks — which can haul trailers by day and substitute for a luxury sedan by night — sell for more than $55,000.

Since 2010, Chevy Volt has outsold Nissan Leaf by just two units

Tue, Mar 3 2015

The first two plug-in vehicles from major automakers in the US were the Chevy Volt and the Nissan Leaf. Ever since they went on sale to much fanfare in late 2010, we've been tracking the monthly sales with great interest (and, of course, other green vehicle sales as well). After a big initial lead by the Volt – the Volt outsold the Leaf 23,461 to 9,819 in 2012 – the Leaf has been chugging along and outsold the Volt every month since November 2013. We knew that the cumulative totals would soon tip in favor of the Leaf, but for at least one more month, the Volt is going to be able to say its the most popular plug-in vehicle in the US. Overall, for all officially reported sales of the Leaf and the Volt, things are almost exactly tied. Since the vehicles went on sale in the end of 2010 until the end of February 2015, the Volt has sold 74,592 units and the Leaf has sold ... drumroll please ... 74,590 units. For February, Leaf sales totaled 1,198 units, a 17-percent drop from the 1,425 Leafs sold last February. Brendan Jones, Nissan's director of Electric Vehicle Sales and Infrastructure, said in a statement that, "Tough winter weather in several key markets held EV sales back in February. As we head into spring, we look forward to seeing more dealership traffic so shoppers can experience firsthand the benefits of the all-electric Nissan Leaf." Of course, it was cold in the US last February, too, but we're sure that the nasty weather did indeed play a role last month. Things were even worse for the Chevy Volt, which dropped to just 693 copies sold, down 47 percent from the 1,210 sold last year. That's just barely enough for Chevy to keep talking about its plug-in sales leadership, but we expect the message to change once the March numbers come out next month. Related Video:
