2014 - Cadillac Xts on 2040-cars
Miami, Florida, United States
I purchased this vehicle for my wife in June 2014. The car still looks and smells like a new car. There is absolutely nothing wrong on this car. No scratches, dings or dents of any kind. Inside and outside is showroom condition. The car has way too many luxury details to list, please see the window sticker in the pictures. In the last 10 years I have sold a couple of my corvettes and a couple of my motorcycles on EBay. Each buyer was extremely happy with the condition of the vehicles and how smooth the transaction was. Both motorcycles were purchased and then shipped to out of state buyers. My 2007 Corvette was purchased by a gentleman from Australia. He flew into Florida, picked up the car, drove it to California, and put it in a container to be shipped overseas. The ONLY reason we are selling the Cadillac is our business has slowed down. Because of poor business conditions we have been forced to lay off some people. We are cutting back on our lifestyle until the business improves. So here is a great opportunity to buy a practically new beautiful black luxury Cadillac at a big savings. I have removed the Florida tag and have parked it in my air conditioned garage for safe keeping until it is sold. The Cadillac has 1,607 miles on it. I will drop the price 500 each time I relist it. You can wait until it gets to your price, but someone may Buy It Now and beat you to it.

2015 Cadillac Escalade gets 8-speed auto, range-topping Platinum Collection trim
Mon, 11 Aug 2014The redesigned 2015 Cadillac Escalade is still quite fresh on the market, but the luxury brand has a host of mid-model-year updates for its massive luxury SUV that should make it an even better driver. The range-topping Platinum Collection (pictured above) is also all set to ensconce drivers in leather when it hits the road in the fourth quarter of 2014.
The entire Escalade range now gets an eight-speed automatic to replace the previous six-speed, and four-wheel drive models also get a two-speed transfer case to go along with it. New standard features include a Surround View camera system, 4G LTE connectivity, and the electric tailgate also now closes hands-free, in addition to opening that way.
To make riding in the Escalade an even more luxurious experience, Cadillac is adding a Platinum trim. Exterior changes add even more shine to the behemoth SUV with a grille wearing the redesigned brand crest, additional chrome trim, 22-inch wheels and Platinum badges. However, the interior is where things really get plush. The first and second row of seats are wrapped in Nappa, semi-aniline leather in a choice of either beige or gray. The dashboard, upper door panels and center console also get hand-stitched and wrapped leather, plus a suede microfiber headliner. Both front seats are heated and cooled with 18-way power adjustments, and the driver even gets a massaging function. Rear passengers are hardly left out, either, with 7-inch LCD screens in the headrests and a 9-inch screen in the center.
Cadillac's Euro reboot may have implications for US models, sales
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Firmly on the comeback trail in the US, Cadillac is still trying to get out of the starting blocks in Europe. At the Geneva Motor Show in March, Cadillac' senior execs revealed plans to grow the brand's presence in a luxury market dominated by the big three German marques, Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
GM President Dan Ammann says he sees "enormous" potential for Cadillac globally.
Over the past 20 years, the General Motors premium nameplate has tried and failed multiple times to break into the European market. This time around, Cadillac recognizes that progress will be modest at best, and depends on specific changes to models, some of which may impact the brand's US lineup. Planned new sales tactics in Europe may also impact the way Cadillac does business on this side of the pond.
