This is a stunning vintage 79 Cadillac Seville. This Cadillac is fully loaded down to the original am/fm 8-track player with C-B Radio.  The exterior is very nice with only the trunk lid being repainted sometime in its past.  It's  ultra low mileage makes this a beauty.  There is no damage to the exterior body and the paint shines like its new.  The leather interior shows new except for the passenger seat.  It has a small dried out area where the surface is flaking.  We have inspected this vehicle and this Caddy needs no service or repairs.  A  new power antenna mast has been installed to give this Seville the sleek look.   This Seville sits on 4 near new Vogue Tires.  This Seville runs like new.  Recent battery and all new o-rings in the fuel injection system.  This is a beautiful find and is ready to drive home.  It is a one owner vehicle that has been in storage for the past 6 to 8 years.  This Seville has typical Illinois corrosion to the frame and suspension which is light surface rust starting where the undercoating is flaking off..  The exterior body is Rust Free.  Buyer will have to make arrangement for shipping, but I will help in loading vehicle..

Cadillac shows dealers convertible rendering

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

Cadillac is getting serious about revitalizing and expanding its lineup, and to that end, a new report claims that brand boss Johan de Nysschen has been showing plans for several new models to the marque's dealer body - among them, a new convertible.
The droptop which Cadillac reportedly showed its dealers in sketch form, would be based on the same platform as the ATS and CTS, those it's unclear to which (if either) of those model lines the new convertible would be added, or whether the design features a canvas or folding hardtop roof. One way or another, it would be the first time Cadillac would offer a convertible since the Corvette-based XLR roadster was discontinued more than five years ago.
Quoting an unnamed brand spokesperson, Cadillac would "like to introduce an open car to the portfolio at some point," however, "it's not likely to be one of the near-term portfolio additions."

Cadillac planning more Vsport models

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

There's a new intermediate class of luxury performance cars emerging. Audi has been doing it for years with its S-line bridging the gap, in many cases, between the standard fare and the full-on RS performance range. BMW's getting in on it with the M Sport line slotting in below the full M models. And now Cadillac is joining the fun with its Vsport offerings.
Models like the CTS Vsport and XTS Vsport are packing a new 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 with 410 or more horsepower (along with bigger wheels and brakes) to slot in between the standard model and any impending V variant. Well, it appears Cadillac isn't about to stop there.
Speaking with The Detroit News, Cadillac product chief Hampden Tener revealed that, based on the response to the XTS Vsport, the brand is planning more Vsport models. He did not, however, indicate which would be the next to get the slightly sportier treatment. With the full ATS-V expected to pack a version of the same engine powering the aforementioned XTS and CTS Vsport models, an ATS Vsport would have to pack a smaller engine to fit in below. That only leaves the SRX crossover, Escalade SUV and the upcoming ELR hybrid. Food for thought.

Cadillac CT6 shows its face in 2015 Oscars ad [w/video]

Mon, Feb 23 2015

Have you been watching the 2015 Oscars? No? Then you've missed your very first look at Cadillac's long-awaited flagship, the imaginatively named CT6. Don't worry folks, we've got the entire spot, titled The Daring: No Regrets, available below. Marking the start of the new Dare Greatly campaign, the 60-second spot will be joined by three others during the Oscars' broadcast, and features a number of unconventional luminaries from the worlds of fashion, finance, technology and film, contrasting their common beginnings with their exceptional accomplishments. It's a powerful spot... and then the CT6 arrives. Asking "How dare a 112-year-old carmaker reinvent itself," a white CT6 is spotted (viewed through what looks like a bad Instagram filter) cruising slowly down a New York (we assume) street. The car itself is big and wide – properly American and Cadillac in its proportions – and features a very handsome evolution of the latest CTS' styling, with a new take on the brand's distinctive headlight and grille design. Have a look at the photo above, watch the ad and let us know what you think of both the commercial and the car that stars in it, down in Comments.
