Production of the Toyota Rav4 EV has ended. The shipment of the final Toyota EVs concludes Toyota's deal to source batteries from Tesla. Cadillac will likely show an improved version of the ELR at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. The 2016 ELR will include unspecified "engineering enhancements," according to Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell. Uber executives, along with Illinois Governor Pat Quinn, have announced a major expansion of the ride-hailing company's Chicago headquarters. Uber also plans to add 420 jobs by the end of 2016. "Uber's new expanded headquarters will allow the company to continue its rapid growth and serve its riders and drivers throughout Illinois," says Governor Quinn. 2016 Cadillac ATS-V brandishes 450 horses and 6-speed manual

Details about the hotly anticipated 2016 Cadillac ATS-V are tumbling out, and they look to be everything we could ask for in a high-performance Caddy coupe.
According to Road & Track, the ATS-V will use a version of the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter V6 from the CTS Vsport, but the wick will be turned up to 450 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. In glorious news for driving enthusiasts everywhere, that potent mill will be available with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic.
According to R&T, the engine has a heap of high-performance tech to let it make the extra ponies, including titanium connecting rods, two water-to-air intercoolers, titanium turbines for the turbos and an additional radiator dedicated to cooling the gearbox and electronically locking differential. Keeping it all planted are a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, and a suspension with 50 percent more roll stiffness.

Consumer Reports loves the 2014 Cadillac CTS

Our first drive of the 2014 Cadillac CTS was just published today... we really liked the Vsport version. And Consumer Reports has some even stronger words of praise for the all-new luxury sedan. We already knew that Cadillac had stepped up its game with the third-gen CTS, but CR bluntly states that the sedan drives better than its German luxury counterparts.
While CR shows plenty of love for the new CTS, the outlet still takes issue with some of the in-car technology including the CUE infotainment system - no surprise there. The testers' offer all manner of positive comments where the impressive handling capabilities of the sedan are concerned, with lots of drifting around CR's private test facility in evidence to bear them out.
