2007 Cadillac Srx Mint Condition- Premium Edition on 2040-cars
Saint Louis, Missouri, United States
I am offering my 2007 Cadillac SRX in superb condition at auction. The SRX is the Premium Luxury Collection Edition, and includes: Bose surround sound, Premium seating package, Ultra view sunroof, Power adjsut pedals, DVD Navigation system, Limited slip differentail, etc. etc. It has never been damaged and has no scratches or dents on the body or bumpers. The FULL LENGTH SUN ROOF is also perfect.
The leather looks new as well. As you can see, it is fully equipped including Navigation (updated disc), special painted grille and lightly tinted front side windows. The third seat (electric) has never been used. The options also include power adjustable brake and gas pedals to reach a shorter driver. As mentioned, the Diamond white is a factory color and paint job. This is NOT A MARY KAY car repainted from pink. New Michlein tires were installed about 23,000 miles ago and still have plenty of life. The SRX is hardly driven in the winter, as I am normally away-- I am the only driver of the car. It is stored in a heated building. Bidders are welcome to call my cell at 314-330-0877 Thanks for bidding, Robert XM Radio active until June, 2014 as well as OnStar Diagnostics. |

How GM's grueling 24-hour test gets the kinks out of its performance cars
Tue, 27 Aug 2013One of the biggest challenges automakers face when designing a high-performance car is making sure that it is both fast and reliable. For General Motors, any car that might be taken to the track by its owner - like the Corvette, Camaro Z/28 (shown above) and the Cadillac CTS-V, for example - undergoes a rigorous and strenuous 24-hour test by engineers at the Milford Proving Grounds, as pointed out by Car and Driver.
We've posted on this topic in the past - on a video showing the Camaro ZL1 being brutalized, for instance - but this article gives a more in-depth look at what actually happens behind the scenes... including what that poor ZL1 went through. Though the test isn't for 24 hours straight, the cars are pushed as hard as possible by some of GM's best drivers with only the brakes and tires replaced frequently.
We don't want to ruin the fun for you, but it is an interesting article that tells just some of what GM does to develop its sports cars. Check out the full article over at Car and Driver for the rest of the story.
Cadillac finds a few more horsepower for ATS-V
Wed, Mar 25 2015We've rarely found cause to complain about a car getting more power, and guess what? That's not going to change here. After initially announcing that the new ATS-V would come to market with a Corvette-matching 455 horsepower, Cadillac has come back with an SAE-certified 464 horsepower. That, as Automobile points out, puts the high-performance ATS in spitting distance of the base Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and its 469 hp. Anyone else feeling bad for owners of the 425-hp BMW M3? While the ATS-V is getting a bit more grunt, somehow, we doubt Cadillac will adjust its previously published performance figures. Expect 60 miles per hour to arrive in 3.9 seconds, with a top speed of 185 mph. As of this writing, a lucky Autoblog staffer is lapping the ATS-V around Circuit of the Americas in Austin as part of the sedan's big launch. So while we can't fill you in on its real-world performance just yet, expect a big update soon. Related Video:
2014 Cadillac ELR is making green sexy in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013
In terms of styling, inside and out, the ELR hits the ball out of the park.
Cadillac has pulled the wraps off of its newest family member, the long-rumored, Voltec-powered, eye-catching extended range hybrid coupe called the ELR. The car makes use of the same basic architecture as the Chevrolet Volt, but has been thoroughly layered on with design, technology and performance tuning - with the goal of being a properly situated product for the Cadillac brand.
