2006 Cadillac Srx All Wheel Drive Sport Utility 4-door 3.6l on 2040-cars
Sully, Iowa, United States
We just purchased this almost flawless SUV from my Mom and Dad just a few weeks ago after they bought a new Taurus. We thought it was what we wanted, but after taking it to Michigan this past weekend for a family vacation, we realized our kids are getting bigger and we need more room than this vehicle provides. (Girls and their luggage) I had it completely gone over by the shop before our trip. Had everything checked over top to bottom and everything questionable repaired or replaced. All maintenance done at Pella Motors and Lynnville Repair. New top of the line Firestone tires from Grinnell Firestone. ($700) new coil packs (about $650) and new fuel pump ($844) I have all service records. 109,000 miles. Drives and rides exactly what you would expect from a Cadillac, we just need more room. Has always been garaged and Mobile 1 every oil change and oil changed exactly as manufacturer specified. I'm also open to trades of Suburban's or Expeditions with the same Kelly Blue Book Value. All wheel drive, 4 wheel drive, leather and seating for 7 or 8 is a must. I have the title in hand and would prefer an even over trade if possible. Come to Sully and take it for a drive. I don't like phone calls but you are welcome to email and set up a time or inquire more. You won't be disappointed!

De Nysschen says Cadillac will be ready for a $250,000 model in 15 years
Fri, Nov 21 2014Cadillac president Johan de Nysschen has some very, very lofty goals for the American luxury car manufacturer. That's according to a new report from Reuters, where the former Audi and Infiniti exec says that Cadillac is only 15 years away from selling a $250,000 car. "It is too early today for a $250,000 Cadillac," de Nysschen told Reuters at the LA Auto Show. "Fifteen years from now, it won't be." Now, provided de Nysschen doesn't envision a future of hyper-inflation, where an ATS rings up at $200K and a CTS at $225,000, the idea that Cadillac could sell a car worth a quarter-of-a-million dollars in just 15 short years is the very definition of ambitious. That's doubly true when you realize that, at present, Cadillac's most expensive vehicle is the Escalade ESV Platinum, which costs no more than $97,940, while de Nysschen said the upcoming CT6 sedan will be priced "in the 70s." What do you think? Could a Cadillac that costs well over twice as much as the brand's most expensive current vehicle be a reality in the distant future? Or is de Nysschen aiming too high too soon? Let us know what you think in Comments. News Source: ReutersImage Credit: Jae C. Hong / AP Cadillac Luxury cadillac ct6
Cadillac bids farewell to CTS-V Coupe with special edition
Mon, 12 May 2014With the introduction of the latest Cadillac CTS, we knew it would only be a matter of time before a new CTS-V would come along. Now General Motors has revealed that the next CTS-V will arrive sometime next year, but before it does, the company is sending off the outgoing coupe with a special edition.
For 2015, the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe will come in a limited edition of 500 units decked out with a dark grille treatment, satin-finish wheels, red brake calipers and an upgraded cabin. The interior is decked out Recaro seats trimmed in black with red stitching, Midnight Sapele wood trim, metal pedals and a microsuede-trimmed steering wheel and shifter.
Buyers will be able to opt for white, gray or optional black exterior paint, an available sunroof and a six-speed transmission in either manual or automatic configuration. Of course, the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 comes standard with 556 horsepower, as does Magnetic Ride Control and brakes by Brembo. Pricing will be announced closer to launch, but in the mean time, you can read all there is to know by checking out the official release below.
Cadillac welcomes back Entourage favorite Ari Gold
Mon, May 18 2015With publicity for the long-awaited Entourage movie ramping up, we're finding that one of the stars of the film happens to be the handsome Cadillac Ciel Concept convertible. It makes a number of appearances in the trailers with Vince, E, Turtle, and Johnny Drama cruising about, despite the fact that it isn't actually a production vehicle. We guess it pays to be Aquaman and Enzo Ferrari. Supporting its tie-in with the flim, Cadillac has enlisted Jeremy Piven, famed for his roll as outrageous, obnoxious, abrasive, and amusing talent agent Ari Gold, to star alongside its droptop sedan. The pair are the focus of a four-minute featurette welcoming the actor's character back while expounding on the series-ending cliffhanger that basically made the movie a sure thing. Take a look at the spot, which was directed and written by Entourage creator Doug Ellin. And be sure to check out the brotastic HBO series when it makes the jump to the big screen on June 3.
