1978 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham d'Elegance which was the top of the line Cadillac in 1978.  This car is loaded, loaded, loaded with all cadillac options except sunroof and anti theft.  There is approximately 69,900 miles.  This vehicle runs as good as it looks and is not used every day.  I purchase the vehicle a few years ago and chased down some odds and ends, Typical to all my cars I did brakes tires shocks tune up plugs wires cap rotor filters and fluid changes. IT's ALL DONE, FINISHED BUSINESS. It's always a pleasure to drive  Everything, everything, everything works except clock.  The options on this car are as follows:  air conditioning, tilt and telescopic wheel, cruise, power windows, seats reclining passenger, locks, delay wipers, rear defroster, twilight sentinel lights, power trunk and pull down, automatic load leveling low fuel light, lighted vanity mirror, very rare economy lights, illuminated entry system, four wheel disc brakes. It also came with power antenna and 8 track and analog radio.  The 8 track worked good but there was poor reception with the radio.  I put in a 1980-81 digital AM/FM stereo radio with cassette player with Dolby noise reduction and the gentleman who professionally rebuild the radio also put in an adaptor for an IPod or portable satellite radio.  Stereo sounds incredible with factory Delco speakers.  Nothing has been jammed up or hacked.  Originally spent whole life in California and as you can see by the pictures there is zero rust and zero issues.  This is a turn key car.  Interior is 100% original and flawless, I mean flawless and color is camel.  Exterior is 99% original lacquer paint Western Saddle firemist to be exact.  Left front fender has been touched up somewhere in it's life.  The original vinyl roof is a very rare dark camel metallic and is in impeccable condition.  All original orangey-brown pin striping.  Rear fender extensions replaced and pinstripe re striped on the extensions as well.

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.

2013 Cadillac ATS 3.6 AWD

All-Wheel, All Right
There is no escaping the luxury all-wheel drive empire Audi has built for itself over the past 15 years. While nearly every high-end marque has at least one offering with power at all four corners, the hardware can't help but play second fiddle to Ingolstadt's Quattro kingdom. Leather-lined all-wheel drive is simply Audi the way minimum wage is an English degree. But General Motors seems hell-bent on raiding as many established fiefdoms as possible with the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Engineers and designers made no secret of the fact that the baby Cadillac was penned specifically to take on the BMW 3 Series, but Audi should be no less concerned about the newest luxury prince from Detroit.
GM has been stuffing all-wheel drive systems under their vehicles for years, but the effort hasn't come without nasty side effects. Unfortunate understeer, extra ride height, smallish wheels and porky curb weight meant opting for all-wheel drive was like signing your driving pleasure's death warrant. Would you like polished brass or brushed nickel hardware for your right foot's coffin, sir?
