This is one of the rarest of all Cadillac's ever built.While myself being and collector of cadillac's ive been looking for years for and good example well folks i have found it .this is one of the nicest tailsmans there might be While the Fleetwood Brougham was the flagship of the Cadillac sedans, there was nothing that could touch the elegance, prestige and pure luxury of the Talisman. With its unique vinyl roof pattern, turbine style wheel covers, Talisman emblems throughout and the ultra plush Medici cloth interior, this Fleetwood was a statement above all others. Inside it features twin captain chairs in front with a center console, writing table, pen placement, and special lighting. The Ultra plush Velour is on the seats, trim and door panels. in the back there are magazine holders and thicker carpeting. the interior of this example is like new. There is no cracking on the dash or steering wheel. All of the door panels show no Cracking or wear. This Fleetwood Talisman has come to us from a Cadillac Collector who owned many of these fabulous cars. Having recently come out of storage, it has had major reconditioning. Included are, new radiator, new heater core, new fuel Lines, new cap, rotor, plugs and wires, new front shocks, new power antenna, new windshield washer pump, rebuilt gas gauge sending unit, A/C Service, rear tail light fillers and new modern tires. This Fleetwood Talisman also features factory Fuel Injection. Almost unheard of at the time,Also making this one even more rare the fuel injection added additional power and torque. Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment

One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.

Cadillac partners with Saks Fifth Avenue for limited-edition ELR

There's no softening the blow with this one - this is the limited edition 2014 Cadillac ELR Saks Fifth Avenue Edition, and it costs $89,500, including $995 for destination. The special model, limited to just 100 units, is part of a holiday season collaboration between Cadillac and luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue. In addition to the ELR, there will also be a special "Frozen Escalade" window display at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship store near Rockefeller Center in New York City, which will feature the 2015 Escalade with functioning LED running lamps that, as the automaker says, "appear embedded and breaking through a wall of ice."
But back to that ELR. This Saks edition plug-in hybrid coupe commands a surcharge of $14,500 over the $75,000 base model that over 85-percent of Autoblog readers polled already feel is overpriced. For that extra coin, you get an ELR wearing exclusive (to this car) White Diamond paint matched with either a jet black or light cashmere interior. Buyers will also receive an upgraded 240-volt charging station complete with professional installation, and the cars come with Cadillac's ELR Concierge service - representatives "trained in white-glove customer care" that serve as an additional point of contact beyond the dealership when it comes to topics like like battery care, charging, service scheduling and news updates.
Folks who order the Saks Fifth Avenue ELR are expected to receive their cars in March of next year. Price aside, we're sure it'll look great parked alongside the Neiman Marcus Aston Martin Vanquish Volante in owners' garages. Scroll down for Cadillac's official press blast.

Cadillac sales chief fired over policy violation

Amidst a good year for Cadillac, which is experiencing higher sales gains than any other US brand this year, the US sales chief has been fired over a policy violation, Automotive News reports.
The sales chief, Chase Hawkins, "has left effective immediately," GM spokesman David Caldwell told Automotive News. Caldwell went on to say that Hawkins' replacement would be chosen soon.
Hawkins became the US sales chief in June 2012, and before that was the regional sales director for Cadillac in the Northeast US, overseeing 168 dealerships.
