This car has been sitting since 1989 all original. I changed carb just to hear it run and boy does it run great, great it has been tuned up new plugs, cap, rotor, Points an wires I also put new brakes all the way around new shoes, all new hardware, and new lines. The fuel tank is out of car do too the fact it needs cleaned, But can hear it run with remote tank no problem. Very cool old car all power windows an doors it also has AC, The motor is a 429 big block original motor with 113,000 original miles, it still has bias ply tires with factory stainless hub caps and there in perfect shape. Absolutly no rust on quarters or floor pans, just a couple small dings but no dents or rust........THIS IS A WAY COOL CAR FOR 48YRS OLD. GOOD LUCK...............EMAIL for ?

Akerson says Cadillac will get a larger sedan within two years

It seems that during a recent affair showing off the 2014 Cadillac CTS, General Motors CEO Dan Akerson confirmed reports regarding a new Cadillac flagship sedan. According to USA Today, which Akerson was visiting, he said that a sedan larger than the XTS would debut within the next two years.
This matches up with what we heard earlier in the month about a Cadillac model that will go up against the BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz S-Class (not a pricier, low-volume sedan also discussed in that article). But this is the first time a high-profile executive name has been attributed to such a report, and the first time a broad timeframe has been mentioned. This article adds that the unnamed car will be rear-, and all-wheel drive with a platform "loosely based" on the new CTS, with styling closer to that car than recent Cadillac concept vehicles. The XTS will continue production of course, as well.

Cadillac Elmiraj has production potential

There are many reasons to love the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept, but not the least of which is how production-ready this big coupe appears to be. Take out the overly fancy interior and a few conceptual elements of the exterior, and this looks like a coupe that could be in dealers now as the successor to the Eldorado.
On top of that, Automotive News is quoting Bob Ferguson, Cadillac senior vice president, as saying that a production version of this car is "very doable." AN adds that if the Monterey showstopper gets the green-light, this car would compete against the upcoming Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe and would based on Cadillac's upcoming rear-wheel-drive flagship sedan due out in 2015. The range-topping coupe would debut sometime after the sedan model. Cross your fingers.
