1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham W/ 68k Miles on 2040-cars
Hilton, New York, United States
Second owner and have the original title from the purchaser in Brookline, MA. They traded in to a dealer there with a rod knock. I replaced the engine with a correct 1993 vintage (Chevrolet 5.7l) unit with several upgrades, including a brand new aftermarket intake and carburetor, fuel pressure regulator, headers and new exhaust w/ cat-delete, mild corvette camshaft. The car runs strong but sounds almost stock, and would really move with a set of heads, OR I have all the original TBI parts in the trunk in case the buyer would like to restore it to original. As it sits, you have to look carefully in the engine compartment to tell anything has been altered. CEL is on, naturally, and Traction control light. The body I'd conservatively rate at 7/10, and the interior at 8/10. The rear bumper has rust and should be replaced. No rust or rot or major dents, and the factory clearcoat is still very shiny. Carriage roof is great. Very pretty car, and a detailer/ body man could get it looking brand new with maybe $1k. Floors and frame solid. Tires 5/10. Be aware that this is a carburetor conversion and a gentleman's hot rod, or well on its way, at least. It runs great. This is a VERY nice 1993 automobile but understand that it's still 21 years old and not perfect. New pics soon. |

2014 Cadillac CTS starts $7k higher than last model at $46,025*
Thu, 13 Jun 2013The redesigned 2014 Cadillac CTS will be more powerful, stylish and luxurious than its predecessor, but it will also be much more expensive. With a new starting price of $46,025 (*including $925 for destination), the 2014 CTS represents a price increase of more than $7,000 compared to the 2013 model, but it should be more appropriately sized and equipped to take on rivals like the BMW 5 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which start at $47,800 and $51,900, respectively.
Available trim levels - referred to as Collections - include Luxury, Performance and Premium, offering either a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder or a 3.6-liter V6 and the choice of either rear- or all-wheel-drive configurations. For more performance, the all-new CTS Vsport model will have an asking price of $59,995. This 420-horsepower model is more powerful than both the BMW 550i and Mercedes E550 and about $2,000 less expensive than both.
There's still no word on what Cadillac has in store for a next-gen CTS-V sedan, but we're guessing power and price will both rise considerably. Scroll down for more info on the 2014 CTS that is set to go on sale this fall.
2014 Cadillac ELR is making green sexy in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013
In terms of styling, inside and out, the ELR hits the ball out of the park.
Cadillac has pulled the wraps off of its newest family member, the long-rumored, Voltec-powered, eye-catching extended range hybrid coupe called the ELR. The car makes use of the same basic architecture as the Chevrolet Volt, but has been thoroughly layered on with design, technology and performance tuning - with the goal of being a properly situated product for the Cadillac brand.
2016 Cadillac CT6 shows crisp sense of style in leaked images
Tue, Mar 31 2015You're looking at the 2016 Cadillac CT6, aided by the almost inevitable internet-aided leak, ahead of its debut at the New York Auto Show this week. As you can see, the overall shape is straight-edged and aggressive, and overall in keeping with what we've seen from Cadillac over the last several years. High-tech lighting clusters extend from the fender peaks all the way down in what appear to be LED strips toward the lower fascia and its rectangular fog lights. A suitably massive grille encrusted in chrome boasts one of the larger Wreath and Crest badges we've ever witnessed on a car. Under that sharply creased hood will sit a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine with 400 horsepower at its disposal, according to Cadillac, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter V6 will also be available, we're told. We may wish for an edgier range-topping sedan from Cadillac, but it's not really fair to draw any real conclusions from just one leaked image. In other words, stay tuned, 'cause the rest of the story won't be far behind.
