1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Custom Lowrider Daytons 2 Pump Booms Low Rider on 2040-cars
Brimley, Michigan, United States
1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 5.7l Automatic Custom Lowrider Pro Built! First let me say this is a great starter traditional lowrider project. It's a great car, but could use paint, chrome, setup expansion, and personal customization. This car has 13' all around and lays low. Great sound system, Very good undercarriage work all around. This car has front suspension reinforcement, but no frame reinforcements. The setup does not allow twisting actions and is tame. This is a great cruiser as is! Lowered, all new front end parts, including changed spindles to fit 13' 100 spoke knock off Dayton wire wheels. Older Condition but still cruise-able. Custom reinforced control arms, fabricated for extra front lift. 8' front cylinders, 10' rear cylinders. Rear axle shortened for extremely low drop in rear body. Rear bumper will drag with rear down front up. 2 Black Magic pumps, 2 dumps, 2-4 switches. Partially hard lined in trunk. 4 Batteries, nice easy clean setup. Has a pioneer DVD head unit, 2 amplifiers and 4 10' woofers, custom door speakers, 2+ on each door. Hits really hard! Really nice large wiring and amp board, pro install. Super cool custom fiber glassed dash board, painted to match car color, rear deck panel, and door bottoms. Maintained vehicle, new battery, water pump, tune up. Could use: new batteries, new tires. missing some side trim. Rides great! Professionally Built in Detroit MI I will be riding this Cadillac from I75 exit 386 to Pontiac and back this Memorial Day weekend. (I plan on getting new tires and batteries along my way. MAY 25 Baudette Park Pontiac MI Majestics Lowriders Picnic, I will be there to view the car. Please Request Additional Photos! |

Johan responds to critics again about Cadillac's NY move
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Cadillac's new President Johan de Nysschen has faced a fair amount of criticism since assuming his position at the head of the American luxury manufacturer. From the company's move to New York City to a controversial new naming scheme, the first few months of his tenure have not been smooth sailing. Now, the embattled exec is firing back against his critics, notably Automotive News Editor-in-Chief Keith Crain, in a new column running in AN.
De Nysschen countered Crain's claim that the move to the Big Apple, "can only mean that someone wants to live in New York."
"The relocation decision is entirely unrelated to the personal living preferences of any Cadillac executive. No corporation would tolerate such indulgence by its leadership," de Nysschen wrote. "It is about structurally entrenching a challenge to the status quo by reinforcing the psychological and physical separation in business philosophy between the mainstream brands and GM's luxury brand."
Cadillac clears camo off the XT3 revealing grille, lighting details
Wed, Dec 6 2017Up until now, every Cadillac XT3 we've seen has been buried under covers and vinyl wraps, but one of our spy photographers recently captured a group of them with significantly less camouflage. As a result, we finally get a relatively clear picture of what the car will look like. The nose blends the look of current Cadillacs with cues from last year's Escala concept. The headlights still appear to stretch up into the top of the fenders like its production brethren, but they don't descend as far down the front fascia, a hint of Escala influence. The grille also features more of egg-crate mesh like that Cadillac concept. In profile, we can see evidence of the XT3's smaller size compared with the XT5, mainly in the lack of any glass area behind the rear door. Other evidence of the smaller size is that our spy photographer reports the cars were being tested alongside the BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. The profile also shows that the XT3 will have a hard-edged rear end with a rakish hatch. At the back, there isn't a whole lot to report, but the taillights look like they'll be interesting. There appears to be a horizontal element in the middle of the hatch similar to what we've seen on the Escala and the refreshed XTS. We can also see some lights up on the C-pillar, which indicates that the XT3 will also have tall vertical elements up those pillars like on the Escalade. We expect the XT3 to show up late in 2018. It will likely be powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder of some sort, and because it will probably be based on an existing GM crossover or sedan platform, it will probably have front-wheel drive and/or a front-drive based all-wheel-drive system. 2018 Cadillac XTS V-Sport Drivers' Notes Review | Cruise missile
Fri, Jan 26 2018The XTS is a standout in Cadillac's current lineup. It's a throwback to the automaker's cars of the '90s and early 2000s. It's big, comfy and packs a punch under the hood, but there's only a slight pretense of sportiness, despite the V-Sport moniker. If you want a Cadillac that handles, buy a CTS or ATS. Still, there's nothing wrong with being a big, slightly soft cruiser. Not everyone is out to conquer the Nurburgring. Some people just want comfy seats and a half-mile of wheelbase. Our tester is the range-topping Platinum V-Sport trim. At $73,040, it's not exactly cheap. That said, you do get a hell of a lot for your money. This car has heated and cooled massaging front seats with 22-way power adjustment, a heated steering wheel, heads-up display, the latest version of Cadillac's infotainment system, Bose surround sound, LED headlights and adaptive cruise control. That's not including all the V-Sport goodies like Brembo brakes, magnetic ride and a howling 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6. Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder — Hopping in the Cadillac XTS, the familiar surroundings created a certain set of expectations. Like judging a book by its cover, it's an easy trap to judge a Cadillac by its interior (they all feel the same to me). Some of what I expected, I got: a smooth ride, hearty pep, robust driver assist and fussy audio and HVAC controls. What surprised me was just how urgent this motor is. On paper, that should come as no surprise. The V-Sport's 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6, making 410 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, is bound to pack a punch. You almost forget what that should feel like, though, until you put your right foot down. There's no lag, and despite the all-wheel drive, there's even a little torque steer. The lightness of the steering means it's no difficult task to account for it, though. Speaking of steering, I actually enjoyed bending this through tight corners. It's a breeze to saw the tiller back and forth, and the car communicates the interaction between the tires — especially up front — with the road. I'd like to take this Caddy to the track. Associate Editor Reese Counts: I liked this car way more than I thought I would. I was expecting a DTS or STS with a fresh face and a bit more punch. In a way, that's what this is, but I don't mean that as a knock. I don't need every car I drive to be able to put down hot laps. Sometimes I want something with soft seats (that massage!) and a big engine to get me home quickly.
