1991 Cadillac Brougham D'elegance Sedan 4-door 5.0l Navy Blue on 2040-cars
Cypress, Texas, United States
Excellent condition vehicle with all features operational. Drives well and has been well maintained. Garage kept.
This vehicle was originally sold in Houston, TX from a local Cadillac dealer, original bill of sale and owner's manual included. Also have the original floor mats which will be included but currently using new ones. I purchased from a gentleman in La Marque, TX for my mother-in-law to replace a similar vehicle she had owned. Included in a successful auction will be a service manual and the original Cadillac marketing brochure. Mileage may change somewhat as I drive the car every once in awhile to ensure it continues to run and perform well. Upon close of a successful auction, a $500 deposit will be required within 24 hours via PayPal or cash. Full payment will be required within 3 business days of the auction closing. The vehicle is located in Cypress, TX and will be made available for inspection and test rides (with proof of insurance and a valid drivers license). Willing to assist with shipping arrangements or local delivery. Title is clear without any liens. Vehicle is for sell locally and auction may end early if sold locally. |

GM outlines strategy for new products, growth in China
Wed, 01 Oct 2014
"Our strategic plan is a pathway to earn customers for life and create significant shareholder value in the process." - Mary Barra
General Motors laid out ambitious plans on Wednesday to become the world's "most valued automotive company," a goal it says it can reach by strengthening its business in China, rebuilding the Cadillac luxury brand and fixing the foundering GM Europe operations.
Cadillac ELR getting massive discounts, some up to $14,000
Mon, Jul 14 2014Well, that didn't go as planned. General Motors had marketed the Cadillac ELR extended-range plug-in as a premium version of the Chevrolet Volt with some Caddy refinements. Now, it looks like that premium, at least from a price standpoint, is shrinking. Shoppers in a number of states are reporting that GM and its dealers are discounting the ELR in order to move more off dealer lots. The issue is that few people are biting at the official price tag of about $76,000, so GM has started offering as much as $8,000 worth of dealer and customer incentives, Transport Evolved reports. More recently, dealers in states such as Florida, Texas and Maryland are offering discounts in the $12,000-to-$14,000 range, and that's before any federal and state plug-in incentives kick in. It's not difficult to guess why. Through the first half of the year, GM sold fewer than 400 ELRs. Last month, Caddy moved just 97 units, or about as many as Tesla sells of its Model S in a day. Perpahs recent spy shots that reveal a test ELR that appears to up the sportiness quotient, with touches such as larger wheels and brakes, will also help sales. Check out Autoblog's "First Drive" impressions of the ELR here.
Corvette's Performance Data Recorder headed to other cars, will Cadillac ATS-V be first?
Fri, 14 Nov 2014For 2015, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray gained a novel piece of high-performance technology: The Performance Data Recorder. This trick system combines video from a front-mounted camera with in-car data and GPS information to help drivers record and study their lap times, complete with data overlays. While it's a clever tool for track days, it's also finding popularity as a built-in dash cam of sorts. To this point, the technology has been a Corvette exclusive, but General Motors' executive vice president of global product development, Mark Reuss, has confirmed to Autoblog that it will soon be available in other vehicles.
At a media luncheon on Thursday, we asked whether GM was keen to expand usage of the technology to other models, and if we could expect to see something soon. Reuss coyly replied, "What's soon?" When we suggested the 2016 Cadillac ATS-V (which is scheduled to debut at next week's LA Auto Show), he replied, "There will be other uses, and it won't be that far away. How's that?"
Certainly not an outright confirmation, but we wouldn't be at all surprised to see the next high-po Cadillac roll under the klieg lights at the Los Angeles Convention Center next Wednesday brandishing more than just 450 horsepower.
