 For sale is my 1988 Cadillac Brougham. It rolls on 22" wheels. Has Sony Explode 1200 watt amp. and 12" sub. Car has standard Cadillac features, p/w, p/s leather interior, etc. Interior is good shape, body has no rust but clear coat is peeling off hood and trunk. Fender extensions on rear are cracked but have new ones in the trunk. Has 5.0 engine that was rebuilt 11,000 miles ago. Runs good, transmission was rebuilt 2,800 miles ago, shifts smooth. Cruse control unit that goes under the hood is missing. Remember this is a 26 year old car! It is not a new car but a good solid car. Vinyl top was removed and Rhino Liner applied. Looks great and never worry about vinyl top again. Please feel free to ask questions. $250.00 deposit via pay pal with in 24 hours with remaining in cash at pick up. GM recalling 8.4M cars, 8.2M related to ignition problems

General Motors today announced a truly massive recall covering some 8.4 million vehicles in North America. Most significantly, 8.2 million examples of the affected vehicles are being called back due to "unintended ignition key rotation," though GM spokesperson Alan Adler tells Autoblog that this issue is not like the infamous Chevy Cobalt ignition switch fiasco.
For the sake of perspective, translated to US population, this total recall figure would equal a car for each resident of New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Montana, Delaware, South Dakota, Alaska, North Dakota, the District of Columbia, Vermont and Wyoming. Combined. Here's how it all breaks down:
7,610,862 vehicles in North America being recalled for unintended ignition key rotation. 6,805,679 are in the United States.

SRX-replacing Cadillac XT5 spied for the very first time

Cadillac has got big plans in place to revitalize its lineup, with new sedans, coupes and crossovers. And it all starts with this, the replacement for the SRX.
Expected to be called XT5 in line with the brand's new naming scheme, the crossover will be based on a scalable new platform called C1XX - or Chi, for short. In its shorter form, Chi is anticipated to underpin the XT5 as well as a new Chevy crossover and the next-gen GMC Acadia. In long-wheelbase form, the platform is slated to give us a larger Cadillac crossover as well as a new Buick Enclave and Chevy Traverse.
Power in the XT5 will be provided by a choice of turbo four or atmospheric six, potentially to be transmitted through GM's new nine-speed automatic.
