This Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Sedan was a dream to ride in 1986 and still is.  This vehicle has super light miles on it. The original owner drove in town mostly, and in 2000 it was put in storage until now. . It is a super clean especially on the inside. No kid family, and a single person drove it 99% of the time, so the interior pristine.  One family owner - vehicle. The car was passed down through the family. The odometer does read only 79,720 miles.  Fleetwood Brougham Sedan is one really great deal. This car has been owned by a non-smoker and has never been smoked in.  The body is solid and has two or three tiny area of rust only the size of a quarter or so in discreet areas. The interior clean as a pin and has never been wrecked. Highway driving is a breeze with the strong running 5.0L V8 4 BBl Carburetor with automatic 4 speed transmission. The engine under the hood is aged from dust and dirt. But recently we changed out all hoses and fluids. To the tune of $900. The Dist Cap, Dist Rotor, Spark plugs, Ignition wires, Fuel Cleaner, Air Filter, Fuel Filter, Wipers, Top Hose, Lower Hose, Htir Hose, and c,alps, and Thermo Gasket and anti-freeze were all flushed and replaced in Feb of 2012. Receipts to prove it.

The muffler is newer to the miles of the car. The interior is spotless with no rips, stains, or blemishes of any kind.
The head liner on the interior was redone replaced also in 2012.

2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]

Tue, 10 Dec 2013

The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Here now is the list of finalists for the big prizes:

Cadillac Elmiraj Concept slinks in Leno's Garage

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

Jay Leno's Garage has moved to Pebble Beach for the week. This time around, the affable comedian is taking a look at the Cadillac Elmiraj Concept that debuted during the Monterey car week, and is talking to General Motors vice president of global design, Ed Welburn.
There's plenty of reminiscing about what concept cars were like when these two were kids, before a fairly deep dive into the striking Elmiraj Concept itself. Welburn shares a few anecdotes about the design process behind the two-door concept, including how his designers changed his mind on the grille design.
After bringing up the Cimarron, Leno makes a solid point that the Elmiraj would be a solid production car that could even spawn a four-door variant. We couldn't agree more. Take a look below for the full video from Jay Leno's Garage.

Ghostbusters' Ecto-1 detailed in behind-the-scenes video

Thu, Jun 9 2016

The Ghostbusters reboot is coming, ready or not. And along with a gender swap between the 'busters and their secretary, the team's trusty chariot, Ecto-1, is getting a refresh. It's still a specialized Cadillac, but that's where the similarities end, judging by the new featurette you see above. Instead of a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Ambulance, 2016's Ecto-1 is a 1982 Cadillac Deville. And instead of being built to keep people from dying, the new car is meant to transport the dead. Yep, it's a hearse. It's hard not to find some kind of hidden meaning there, but this video doesn't mention it. What we have learned here is that the way the new Ghostbusters acquire their vehicle is a little bit different than it was in the original film. In the 1984 version, Dr. Ray Stantz, played by Dan Aykroyd, bought the 1959 ambulance for $4,800 – the equivalent of $11,000 today – despite a litany of problems. It was clear in the film that Ecto-1 was dilapidated long before the Ghostbusters breathed life back into it. But in the new film, the team acquires Ecto-1 from the uncle of Patty Tolan – Leslie Jones' character. And based on the film featurette, it looks like it's in solid shape before the team adds its distinctive livery and logo. You can learn more about the car, see parts of the build process, and hear the cast and crew talk about it in this two-minute featurette. Ghostbusters hits theaters on July 15. Related Video:
