Like A Brand New Car - Only 7K Original Miles - MINT!!

This is a beautiful, all original 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham 4dr sedan in stunning condition inside and out. It is a truly an all-original car with only 7K documented original miles. This Fleetwood is 37 years old but, in every possible regard, it is virtually a new car. It is a true time capsule that has been driven an average of only 194 miles per year since purchased new. It has been pampered all its life and it shows! This Cadillac in my opinion is "One of the nicest, most original 1976 Fleetwood Brougham's in the world". It was ordered in gorgeous Innsbruck Blue Metallic with a truly amazing all original blue interior. The car rust free and is solid as rock. It is absolutely loaded with factory options, which include factory air conditioning and power everything. I have had the privilege of selling many of these cars but have rarely come across one as nice and original as this one here. Don't forget the huge 500ci power plant, just try and find another one like this!!

This is a rare and desirable car in this original condition. This is the car to have if you want to feel like an instant celebrity. It's the ultimate cruiser and it gets more attention and appreciation than any exotic or new luxury car could ever get!!!!!

It's loaded with the following equipment:

  • 500ci 4bbl V8 (#'s Matching)
  • Automatic
  • Power Windows
  • Power Locks
  • Power Steering
  • Power Brakes
  • Factory Air Conditioning (Blows Ice Cold)
  • AM-FM 8-Track Radio
  • Cruise Control
  • Tilt/Tele
  • Power Seats
  • Trunk Mat
  • Auto Level Control
  • Etc.....

This is an ultra clean Cadillac that has been kept in a climate controlled garage and very well maintained its entire life and it shows! The exterior of this car is in beautiful condition. It has all original paint that looks amazing, finished in beautiful gorgeous Innsbruck Blue Metallic. The body is totally rust free and super straight. All the chrome and stainless on the car is in beautiful original condition and looks great. This car really shows like a diamond!

It has an exquisite, all original blue velour interior in it that looks like new. The dash and gauge cluster looks like it just came off the showroom floor. It has never even been smoked in before. Inside the trunk is also all original with its original spare tire and jack!

Mechanically, this little beauty runs and drives beautiful. The engine compartment is all original and very clean. This car always starts right up and floats down the road like new, just like a 7,000 mile car should. It has the #'s matching 500ci engine runs great and automatic transmission that shifts smooth. It is sitting on a like new set of tires!!!

This is a rare, all original classic car that is only going up in value as time goes on. Who knows how many are still left in this kind of condition? All in all, this is a beautiful car that needs nothing, WOW what a find! It is immaculate in every respect and rather than describe it as excellent, it should be described as brand new. I also have copies of all the original paperwork. If you have any additional questions please Call Jimmy at 608-215-8300 from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. PST with any questions you might have and I can help with shipping quotes and arrangements. I also welcome all International bidders! All inspections must be done before the auction ends on my cars!! Chevy's low-cost pedestrian avoidance to debut on 2016 Malibu

Tue, Jul 28 2015

The mainstreaming of safety technologies that began on luxury vehicles will get a big boost from General Motors later this year. The General says it plans to offer 22 driver assistance systems across its product portfolio of 2016 models, starting with the redesigned Chevrolet Malibu - the one that we know will keep tabs on teenagers for the benefit of parents. Pedestrian avoidance will be another of its available options. Instead of kitting the sedan out with numerous and expensive radar arrays, the GM system uses the camera mounted next to the rearview mirror that is already used for the lane-keeping function. New software lets it detect pedestrians, and when it detects a potential collision with one, it can alert the driver and brake autonomously if the driver doesn't react. Eventually, engineers want to give it the ability to do the same with cyclists. Because it uses existing hardware updated with new code, GM says the application costs "a few hundred dollars." GM demonstrated the Front Pedestrian Braking preventing a crash with a dummy pedestrian at speeds up to 15 miles per hour. Automotive News reports that it will reduce the severity of impact up to 40 miles per hour, but "may not be of much use in collisions at higher speeds." That feature will also join the options list of the Cadillac CT6. The press release below has more on GM's driver tech soon on the way. Related Video: GM Paving Way to Smarter and Safer Driving at All-New Active Safety Test Area 22 crash-avoidance technologies offered on 2016 Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac models MILFORD, Mich. 2015-07-24 – Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac will offer 22 different active safety technologies across their 2016 model year U.S. lineups, ranging from driver alerts to those that automatically intervene and assist the driver in critical situations. Safety engineers will develop and test these and other safety technologies for products around the world at GM's new, 52-acre Active Safety Test Area at its Milford Proving Ground near Detroit. The $14 million facility officially opened Friday. "Our comprehensive safety strategy of helping customers before, during and after a crash continues," said Jeff Boyer, vice president of GM Global Vehicle Safety.

Cadillac CT6 shows its face in 2015 Oscars ad [w/video]

Mon, Feb 23 2015

Have you been watching the 2015 Oscars? No? Then you've missed your very first look at Cadillac's long-awaited flagship, the imaginatively named CT6. Don't worry folks, we've got the entire spot, titled The Daring: No Regrets, available below. Marking the start of the new Dare Greatly campaign, the 60-second spot will be joined by three others during the Oscars' broadcast, and features a number of unconventional luminaries from the worlds of fashion, finance, technology and film, contrasting their common beginnings with their exceptional accomplishments. It's a powerful spot... and then the CT6 arrives. Asking "How dare a 112-year-old carmaker reinvent itself," a white CT6 is spotted (viewed through what looks like a bad Instagram filter) cruising slowly down a New York (we assume) street. The car itself is big and wide – properly American and Cadillac in its proportions – and features a very handsome evolution of the latest CTS' styling, with a new take on the brand's distinctive headlight and grille design. Have a look at the photo above, watch the ad and let us know what you think of both the commercial and the car that stars in it, down in Comments.

How GM's grueling 24-hour test gets the kinks out of its performance cars

Tue, 27 Aug 2013

One of the biggest challenges automakers face when designing a high-performance car is making sure that it is both fast and reliable. For General Motors, any car that might be taken to the track by its owner - like the Corvette, Camaro Z/28 (shown above) and the Cadillac CTS-V, for example - undergoes a rigorous and strenuous 24-hour test by engineers at the Milford Proving Grounds, as pointed out by Car and Driver.
We've posted on this topic in the past - on a video showing the Camaro ZL1 being brutalized, for instance - but this article gives a more in-depth look at what actually happens behind the scenes... including what that poor ZL1 went through. Though the test isn't for 24 hours straight, the cars are pushed as hard as possible by some of GM's best drivers with only the brakes and tires replaced frequently.
We don't want to ruin the fun for you, but it is an interesting article that tells just some of what GM does to develop its sports cars. Check out the full article over at Car and Driver for the rest of the story.
