1964 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special Sedan on 2040-cars
Buffalo, Minnesota, United States
This Fleetwood 60 Special Sedan was abandoned at a foreclosed house. All steps have been taken to own this vehicle legally and I have all documents in hand to get a title which will be the new owners job unless they just want to part it out. First off this is a good candidate for restoration, it does have some rust on the floors but not bad enough to have to replace full floors just patches also the body is pretty solid too. I tried to jump the solenoid on the starter but the bendix gear isn't kicking out. The motor would look like new with a detail, I can see it has a new water pump and just overall looks good, even the head liner doesn't have a hole in it.. The car was last registered in 2008. The trunk has rust and will need work, the motor is free and will turn over by hand. The AC is 100% complete, the interior would be nice for a driver but the seats show some wear. The dash Looks perfect with no cracks and is not brittle. Front bumper has a good rust hole but the grill and trim and rear bumper are in good shape. I don't know much about these cars I just happened to come across it so I bought it to resale. It is for sale AS IS where is. I punched out the trunk lock and can get in it and tried the ignition but it didn't do any good. I have a letter from the Company that bought the foreclosed house stating that all laws were followed in receiving the car. All the glass is good and the power seats work and headlights and tail and brake lights, these are the only thing we can test. Thanks and good luck! Also Scammers please move on you will have No luck here. Under 5 feedbacks email or call first. 6123851503

Top horsepower-per-dollar cars in 2017
Tue, Feb 17 2015Bang for the buck. That quasi-scientific statistic is bandied about by motor heads everywhere from classrooms to barrooms, though the truth of the matter is that it's exceedingly complex to measure. A fair performance-per-dollar index would include something like cross-referencing MSRP (Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price) with point-to-point times on a track or driving route, which is obviously hard to do comprehensively. But, for the sheer joy of talking about cars and playing with a big spreadsheet, there's always the horsepower-per-dollar index, which is more straightforward, albeit hilariously flawed. There are vagaries even with this simple formula, of course: MSRP for vehicles can change at a moment's notice, to say nothing of the bottom-line shifting that happens with local deals or showroom negotiation. For this list we're running with the straight MSRP wherever possible, and as recently reported as we can get it. All the vehicles on this list are 2017 models, and all trims are reported where the lowest price and differing power levels intersect. Some choices were made for personal preference and some for sanity, avoiding things like all 48 trim levels of the Ford Transit, all with the same horsepower). If this list were a simple top ten, or even a top fifty, you'd be bored to tears with all the red, white and blue that is represented. Following perfectly with conventional wisdom, American cars really do lead the world where hp/$ is concerned. So, for the sake of variety (and the sheer joy of seeing a minivan 'win' one round of this thing) I've sorted out some top five and bottom five lists for broad power categories. Let's dive in. Less Than 100 Horsepower Okay, okay, this is hardly a category we'll grant you. But we've often tried to click off all the sub-100-hp cars on sale in the US, and making this list gave us an excuse. It also illustrates that none of these smallish vehicles bring cheap horsepower to the table - for that you'll need a motorcycle. The segment-leading Chevy Spark (above) asks just over $139 for each hp, and that Smart Fortwo Electric Drive has hp on sale for about the same price as its very distant family cousin, the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG (insert your favorite Smart joke here... we know you want to).

2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe prepares to fight BMW 4 Series
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Cadillac introduced its new ATS Coupe at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show today, bringing customers an alternative to the growing range of sport luxury coupes typified by the BMW 4 Series, Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe.
The ATS Coupe, as a slightly more premium offering, ditches the wheezy 2.5-liter engine found in the basic ATS Sedan, but retains the four-door's 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.6-liter V6. That four-pot turbo benefits from a fettling that has increased torque from 260 pound-feet to 295, although its peak is only available from 3,000 rpm to 4,600 rpm, unlike in the sedan, where peak twist arrives at just 1,700 rpm and sticks around until 5,500 rpm.
Power can be channeled to either the rear or all four wheels by the owner's choice of a Tremec six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. According to Cadillac, the new Coupe can get to 60 in 5.6 seconds when fitted with the 2.0-liter turbo.
