This fine example of the last of the proud Fleetwoods was originally built by Krystal Coach for the Mirage in Las Vegas, where it served 10 years. I bought it from the Mirage in '07 and have had it in continuous livery service ever since and is still in service until you buy it.
The engine has been replaced with a correct LT-1 engine from a state police interceptor and is currently at about 150K on the motor. Paint, vinyl top, and tires are all in fair and serviceable condition. Heat, A/C, lights, radios, windows, and sunroof all work. There are some minor scratches, clear coat nicks, dings and imperfections as to be expected from continuous service as a livery vehicle. The passenger seat doesn't recline and passenger front door window has trouble rolling down. The fuel gauge doesn't work. But the trip meter does. so as long as you reset the trip and get gas every 250 miles or less, you're fine. There's a slight exhaust leak at the down pipe junction. And the check engine light is on because the new engine did not come with a crank position sensor wheel. I have the one off the original engine in the trunk. But just never got around to mounting it since it doesn't effect the running at all. But overall, it starts, runs, drives, and stops as it should and get's 24 MPH on the highway, 12 in the city, and averages 16-18 MPG. It is always well maintained. I use it every weekend for weddings, funerals, nights out, etc. and I actually drove it from Northern Ohio to Key West and back in February, and wouldn't hesitate to do it again tomorrow. I hate to let her go. However, I'm it's time to revamp my fleet with newer limousines. GM moving international sales HQ to Singapore from Shanghai
Wed, 13 Nov 2013General Motors has announced that it will be moving its international headquarters from Shanghai to Singapore, a move that will see 120 employees working from the city-state by the time business opens in 2014. Meanwhile, 250 to 300 of the employees at the Shanghai office will remain in China, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
The shuffle is part of a bigger reorganization that will see GM isolate its operations in the People's Republic from its broader international efforts. This sort of divide-and-conquer strategy will allow GM to still react to emerging markets while, according to the WSJ, providing a dedicated management team for the Chinese market. The team in Singapore will be responsible for operations in Africa, southeast Asia, Australia, India, South Korea and the Middle East, on top of managing Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe, according to a statement from GM.
The shift to Singapore "will help us to create a renewed identity for CIO (Consolidated International Operations) and lead GM's umbrella strategy for the region," said GM Executive Vice President of CIO, Stefan Jacoby.

All the commercial's missing is a silly medical marketing name and six seconds of speed-reading gibberish about side effects like intestinal bleeding and death. Which are two more good things. Jeep 4xe Super Bowl commercial highlights modern version of 'Electric Boogie' JeepÂ’s “Electric Boogie” commercial follows the Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe in a variety of simulated off-road situations. Though fun, the soundtrack is the real star of the show. The songÂ’s original artist, Marcia Griffiths, was joined by Grammy winner Shaggy, Jamila Falak, Amber Lee, and Moyann on the track. The modernized re-recording celebrates 40 years since GriffithsÂ’ original track, and Jeep says the track is available for streaming now. Opel pulls out of Russia, GM to focus on Cadillac, 'iconic' Chevys
Wed, Mar 18 2015General Motors is going to realign its priorities in the struggling Russian marketplace, withdrawing its Opel brand and pulling out mainstream Chevrolet models. Instead, the General will take aim at Russia's well-established oligarchy, pushing Cadillac as well as "iconic" Chevrolet models, like the Corvette, Camaro and Tahoe. "This change in our business model in Russia is part of our global strategy to ensure long-term sustainability in markets where we operate," GM president Dan Ammann said in a statement. "This decision avoids significant investment into a market that has very challenging long-term prospects." Russian customers interested in an Opel or mainstream Chevys like the Spark, Aveo (the US market Sonic), Cobalt (shown above), Cruze, Orlando and the like have until December to snap up a car before the brands are pulled. "We do not have the appropriate localization level for important vehicles built in Russia and the market environment does not justify a major investment to further localize." Opel Group CEO Karl-Thomas Neumann said. GM will continue to offer service to customers in Russia. "We can assure our customers that we will continue to provide warranty, parts and services for their Chevrolet and Opel vehicles," Neumann said. Beyond realigning its brands in Russia, GM also announced that it would also be idling the company's factory in the country's second-largest city, St. Petersburg.
