'95 Fleetwwod 112" Stretch Limo. on 2040-cars

Year:1995 Mileage:150951
Location:

Akron, Ohio, United States

Akron, Ohio, United States

This fine example of the proud Fleetwoods was built by Chicago Armor, for a private party. At 20K miles, was rear ended, technically totaled, purchased by a funeral home, the rear was cut off and replaced from the doors back with the rear half of another Fleetwood. The funeral home had it in service for 12 years with a rebuilt salvage title. The funeral home closed and hey put the limo up for sale. I purchased it in '09 with 45K miles. I have had it in continuous livery service ever since and is still in service until you buy it.

Paint, vinyl top, and tires are all in fair and serviceable condition. Heat, A/C, lights, radios, and windows all work.
There are some minor scratches, clear coat nicks, dings and imperfections as to be expected from continuous service as a livery vehicle. The seats don't recline and air shocks leak down overnight , there's a slight exhaust leak at the manifold. And there's an intermittent glitch in the rear climate controls. But can be easily switched from heat to cool or back with a vacuum hose.
But overall, it starts, runs, drives, and stops as it should and get's 24 MPG on the highway, 12 in the city, and averages 16-18 MPG. It is always well maintained. I use it every weekend for weddings, funerals, nights out, etc.
I hate to let her go. However, I'm it's time to revamp my fleet with newer limousines.

So here's your chance to own a limousine that has transported the likes of such celebrities as BB King, Great White, Ratt, Journey, Frankie Avalon, White Lion, Warrant, Eddie Money, Don Dokken, Kip Winger, Mark Wills band, Tim "Ripper" Owens, Mike "Mad Dog" Adams, West side Steve Simmons, Sebastian Bach, Paula Poundstone, The Manhattans, countless members of the Indians, Cavaliers, Browns, and the list goes on.

So give it a bid and start your own limousine service with this tried, trusted, true, elegant, and proud Fleetwood.

I'm also selling a nearly identical 1996, 95" stretch Krystal Koach Fleetwood limousine in a separate auction.

Lots of spare parts come with the car. including door cards, window switches, and engine parts.

Local pick up or I can deliver for $.50/mile and a rental car or plane ticket back home to CAK or CLE.

Meet the next president's new Beast, a giant bomb-proof limo

Fri, Jan 22 2016

We don't know who will be our president in 2017, but now we have a better idea of how that person will be transported on land. The next presidential limo, officially referred to as the presidential state car, will be another Cadillac. And a big one. You're looking at a lone spy photo of a car that will be of high interest to actual spies – not to mention Secret Service agents and lots of law-enforcement types. President Obama has been riding around in a Cadillac nicknamed The Beast for a while now. (It recently made an appearance on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.) Over the Secret Service radios, it goes by Cadillac One and Limo One. While the current car looks like a stretched Cadillac DTS sedan, it's actually kind of huge and built on a Chevrolet Kodiak medium-duty truck chassis. The same is likely to be true again, but this one will look a lot more like the latest Cadillac models. Through the camo we can see a front end reminiscent of the new CT6 large sedan. Imagine one of those scaled to about 5/3 of the production car and you've got the right idea. Fun fact: It will be the first presidential limo to feature Caddy's new wreathless crest logo on its grille. View 6 Photos As for features, we're in the dark and will remain so even after the new president-mover goes into service. The details are a legitimate matter of national security, but you can bet it's bulletproof, can withstand small bombs, and has some kind of onboard secondary air supply in case of a chemical or biomedical warfare attack. Oh, and it has that big red phone in back in the event things get really bad. The new one will no doubt carry the latest communications and safety technology. The new presidential limousine has been in the works for some time. The government sent out a request for proposals in 2013, and this model is expected to go into service sometime in 2017. Chances are it will make its debut at the inauguration of [INSERT CONTROVERSIAL NAME HERE] in about a year's time. Related Video:

Cadillac's Butler announces surprise departure

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that Cadillac's vice president of global strategic development, Don Butler, has resigned. Butler has held the position since April, after a term as vice president of US marketing for General Motor's luxury brand.
As the report explains, the timing here is pretty unfortunate for Cadillac. Butler is the third high-profile member of Cadillac's brass to depart in recent months, following the firing of US sales boss Chase Hawkins and the pending departure of Susan Docherty. Cadillac spokesman David Caldwell told the Detroit paper, "Bob [Ferguson]," global boss for Cadillac, "and other leaders asked him to stay on. Don's here in the office today - and told our team that his decision is purely on a personal level. After three years of putting everything into Cadillac, he is stepping away for some personal time, and to consider new avenues in his life."
Butler says his decision is part of a decision to "recalibrate, reassess my priorities." Whatever the reason, it's an unpleasant surprise for Cadillac, which has been on a surge in 2013, with 30-percent jump in sales on the heels of the hot-selling ATS.
